A cool feature I've been thinking is not a page but something for people with collaborators. It would be cool to have some sort of notifications system when a collaborator edits or adds something to a universe. I own a universe and have a collaborator and I'd love to be able to be notified if something is edited or added so I can go check it. Don't worry this isn't a trust issue thing, I'm just interested and don't want to bother her with messages all the time, asking if she has added anything.

I'm asking this also because there might be some sort of bug or something because often times the pages don't show the "last edited " time correctly, especially if a collaborator is involved. I can create a page, my friend goes to edit it and her edits are visible but the "last edited" shows the time I created the page, not the time she edited it. Also the Change log page might not show the edits by her.

There is also a new bug that I noticed where if I try to edit a page my friend created all the fields are blank even if they shouldn't be but even though I save the page with the blanks all the original information written by my collaborator is still there.

Alright enough ranting. The new pages are cool andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), thank you! I myself awaited the conditions page a lot. I'm excited to start creating new pages.

I second this!
A list of the forums that we've used would be nice to have as it is difficult to remember which ones we've used or even made. I think that it would work nicely as a drop-down menu. 😊

Hey guys! So exited to be here first off. Second, for the whole more pages thing I would say it would be cool if there were multiple payment plans. Like three dollars for six extra pages, six for twelve, and nine dollars for the whole package. (Or something like that.) And make it so the people who are buying only six for instance, can choose which pages they want. That way, it could be more convenient, along with the fact that people would have the option to pay less money while choosing the things most valuable to them. Third, thank you so much to all the people in charge of this website, especially andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer). You have made something so completely awesome that helps all us writers (etc.) do what we love.

Another thing i thought of…
Can we get some kind of indicator of time zones? Because I’m always wondering if people aren’t getting sleep and staying on notebook or if I’m not seeing people because they’re sleeping themselves, I don’t know.
But i think that’d be nice, since people on this site come from all over the world or country….

Can we have a sub forum within 'Wildcard Roleplaying' or a separate roleplaying forum for 1:1 rps? They're not inherently bad, but it becomes difficult to find open roleplays when there are so many of them.

Also, to reiterate to everyone: thank you a ton for your thoughts and suggestions. While I don't often post in this thread, I do definitely read and catalog every single suggestion and take it into account. Thank you for your patience as I work through suggestion after suggestion as well; it's still very much only the beginning of Notebook.ai. :)

Since I guess this is as good a place as any to leave suggestions - would it be possible to hide individual categories by universe or alternatively hide categories that have "0" pages in them? I'm working on a fairly wide range of settings, and with there being more categories now, I feel that it might be easier to navigate if, for example, "Planets" didn't show up for my fantasy setting, but for my sci-fi-setting, etc.

Hey, can there be a function where, when you link a page (for instance, linking a character to a group, or to another character via the family page), it will automatically show up on that other page under the appropriate category? Whenever I link a page on one page, when I go to look at the other page, the linked page is not listed, so I add it again. But then, on the bottom of both pages, where it says "Member of/Sibling of/etc", it has each linked thing listed twice.

I don't know if what I just typed makes any sense, but that's the best way I can think of to describe it.

The documents update is awesome! I never really used the scratchpad, but I'm able to use the documents, as they allow me to be a lot more organized. It doesn't appear that there's a way to share them/make them public, though, and I think it would be a great addition to them. It would make it much easier to share story excerpts and lists, as it can be a pain to do directly on the forums.

What if there was a button on the universe page, when your viewing a universe theres a option to transfer ALL the stuff in that universe to a another already made universe.

@Becfromthedead - I think that's in the plan! To quote andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer):

Some features on the V2 agenda, in no particular order:

  • Inline image uploads for documents
  • Reordering documents in your Documents list / searching for documents
  • Sharing functionality (I'd like to allow users to change the document's privacy like any other notebook page)
  • Being able to link documents to universes just like other pages

Imagine how it looks to premium users XD. From what I gather, all the pages in the notebook section are for personal use and able to be edited, that's why they're separate from discussions

It would be nice to have 'folders' of sorts for our characters so that we could put all of the secondary ones together, and the mains in a folder, and villains, etc.
