“Really?” Marcos looked hopefully at Justin, “A new house…” Justin and I living together… Marcos studied Justin’s face in case he was still joking, and when he found seriousness, Marcos added, “I have seen a lot of new houses just outside the city.”
"If we lived outside the city we would need a car to get around." For some reason that was the first thought he had when Marcos talked about outside the city.
“Yeah, I suppose it would be a lot, with a mortgage and all that…” Marcos trailed off, fidgeting hip with his hands and staring up at the sky. It’s probably too much…
Justin grabbed his hands. "I said I would pay for anything and everything you want. This falls under that category."
“But it’s a house and a car. That’s on a whole different level, and you have to like the idea too for this one,” Marcos pointed out with a look, then a smirk, “I know how much you’d love to buy everything for me, but I don’t want it if you don’t want it.”
"I would love a new house. And don't forget we'll choose a house together." He likes that idea, them choosing a house together. "You can't expect us to live in that small apartment forever."
“Alright. This- This will be really fun,” Marcos caved, throwing himself on Justin in excitement and kissing him, “What day do you want to start looking?”
"How about we start today?" Justin smiled giving Marcos a kiss. "I could get us an agent, all we need is to figure out what type of house we want." Justin really liked the idea of them moving into a bigger place.
“Yes!” Marcos couldn’t contain his excitement anymore, a huge grin appearing on his face, “What kind of house do you think you want?” He was going to live with Justin, in an actual house… It felt too good to be true.
Justin did have a personal style preference of modern, but he wasn't sure how Marcos would like that, since it was typically a live it or hate it style. "It should be big, big is nice. What style do you like? I'm not sure you'll like my style."
“Well…” Marcos pondered it over for a few seconds, “I actually like modern, but I don’t mind Victorian… But I’m still happy with whatever, so it can be your choice,” Marcos added that last part quickly, “Besides, Prince, you’re buying so it’s your decision in the end.”
"I want to remind you that just because it's my money doesn't mean you don't get any say. You'll be living there too so if you don't like something then just say so." Justin thought for a second of which was the best agent he knew before he pulled out his phone. "I'm going to get us an agent that can help us look and find out more details of what we do and don't like." He dialed a number then added before the person other side picked up, "and it looks like our house will be modern."
Marcos grinned pecking Justin on the cheek. Gosh darn he loved the guy. Gosh I’m going to be living with this handsome guy… Marcos was beaming by now. He didn’t remember ever being so excited before. Mars leaned in to Justin‘s warm chest a little so he could hear what the agent was saying too.
The phone rung two times before the agent picked up. "Hello, this is Justin Park. Is Hannah Salts there?" Justin smiled as Marcos leaned on him.
"This is. Hello Justin are you finally buying a house?"
Marcos grinned as he leaned on Justin, leaching off his heat. Justin was just so soft… Mars just knew -he just had this gut feeling- that it’d all be perfect when they moved in. They’d live together alone, except for Kolu, but they’d be perfect. Marcos quietly whispered to Justin, “Make sure it’s a kitten friendly house, too.”
Justin laughed slightly at Marcos' input. "Yes, actually I am. Could we come by your office today, we would like to start searching as soon as possible."
"I'm currently available right now, so you're welcome to head over." Hannah spoke sweetly.
"Thank you, we'll head over there right now." Justin hung up the phone. "You ready to buy a house?"
“Yes!” Marcos threw his arms around Justin again with a smile, burying his head into Justin’s shoulder, “It’ll be perfect, I can just tell!” Gosh, Mars couldn’t be more excited as he waited to get into the limo.
Justin guided Marcos to the limo. He told the limo driver where to go. He shifted Marcos so that he was leaning on him. "I can't wait to get a nice, big house with you."
(Oof, application errors keep on popping up every time I try to post)
“I can’t wait either,” Marcos hummed, then added, “You’re really warm…” He closed his eyes, fantasizing about them together in a house. Then a thought made him furrow his brow and look at Justin, “When should I -er- I guess I’m trying to ask when should I pretend to, uh, not be your boyfriend? I remember you said your parents were homophobes…” Marcos made a small frown. His father was a homophobe, something he usually lied about, but he still felt like he could be prideful. Justin hadn’t even come out of the closet before they got together, which led Marcos to assume how bad Mr. and Mrs. Park were.
Justin wrapped his arms around Marcos. "Um, I'm pretty sure Hannah wouldn't tell my parents." Justin knew how prideful Hannah was, not that she was lgbtq+ or anything, but she did have some friends that were. "I'll give you any warnings, but in general around my parents, my brother and anyone my parents work closely with. My sister is fine, I've always been closer to her than my brother." It was probably the fact that they were closer in age or it could be that his brother has always had a big ego and would do anything to bring down Justin so that he was greater in comparison.
(Same about the application error with posting)
“Alright,” Marcos snuggled close to Justin, “We shouldn’t have your parents or your brother around often then…” He smirked, nuzzling his head into Justin’s chest lovingly, breathing him in.
Justin never had gotten along with them much anyway. They pulled up to an office building right off the street from the main road. "Looks like we're here."
“I’m too tired, you should carry me in like you did at the hospital,” Marcos joked with a grin at the fond memory of being carried bridal style by Justin.
Justin laughed. "I'm pretty sure you can walk." Justin had enjoyed carrying him before but it was more fun when he had the element of surprise.
Marcos dramatically sighed then laughed, getting out of the limo and holding the door open for Justin, “After you, love.” He still couldn’t believe he was house shopping with Justin…
Justin went through the door, kissing Marcos on his way by. "Quick question, what will be the sleeping arrangements? Would you like to share a master bed or are you not ready for that? Because if you're not, that's totally fine by me."
Marcos’ eyes widened, “I don’t want to do anything- anything that-“ Marcos struggled for words, then finally settled for, “I don’t want to go beyond snuggles and kisses. But I wouldn’t mind sharing.” Marcos blushed a little while he spoke, but distracted himself by intertwining his hand with Justin’s as they entered the building, receptionist waiting at a desk.
Justin looked over at him. "Oh, I never meant that. I know that you aren't even close to being ready for that." Justin went up to the receptionist.
Marcos laughed, mostly because it was one hundred percent true. He blushed even more at the thought, resting his head on Justin’s shoulder. He watched the receptionist, hoping he didn’t notice how bashful Mars was.
The receptionist smiled at them and asked, “Do you two have an appointment with anyone?” Marcos decided he’d let Justin do the talking, happy with just watching business be done.
"We have an appointment with Hannah Salts, I'm not sure if it's in your system yet since we scheduled it about ten minutes ago." Justin wrapped his arm around Marcos' shoulder.
