"I think Kolu will like the new house." Justin spoke as he brought Marcos closer. The only downside of the new house is how far away it is from the city, more specifically Polaris. Hopefully Hann's super speed could get him there fast enough. Or maybe could finally get him behind bars so that he could spend more time with Marcos. (How impossible that truly is… Lol)
(XD
Another thing I love about this is how Marcos is such a villain, yet he’s excited about baking and having a large kitchen lol)
“It’ll be perfect,” Marcos murmured, then asked quietly, “Are you sure it isn’t too much?” He wrapped his hand around Justin’s doodling little stars with his thumb. Living with Justin in a large house like that… It would be perfect.
Justin smiled as Marcos drew stars on his hand. "To be honest, I could afford a much larger house that costs a lot more. Most other people's budgets fall just short of this house."
“I’m excited. I think I want to get things packed ahead of time, so we can get over there as soon as we buy it,” Marcos mused to himself, closing his eyes. And I can hide Polaris’ suit at the bottom of a box, so Justin won’t see…
"We can do that. But I'm pretty sure you don't want to start today. We don't want to be living out of boxes, it's not fun." And I need to find a place to hide my Hann suit. Justin pulled Marcos closer, giving his forehead a kiss.
Marcos hummed at the kiss, and as the limo slowed to a halt, he was the first one out of the limo. When can I even hide my suit? I had left it underneath my bed wrapped in my bloody shirt… Gosh, I hope it doesn’t smell… He waited for Justin to get out of the car before entering the apartment complex. “You know, why did you even get an apartment with me in the first place? You could’ve bought a house all for yourself, yet you chose a tiny apartment.”
Justin followed behind Marcos. "I didn't want to live all by myself in an empty place. I also didn't know anyone here so figured this would be a nice way to make a friend. Why did you move here?"
“Only place I could really afford on my income,” The cheapest place within the city which he stole from, “And once I found out my roommate was hot, it sealed the deal,” Marcos purred, taking Justin’s hand and walking into the complex towards elevator. He pressed their floor, smiling at Justin, “I got really lucky.”
Justin laughed. “I guess. But I’m even luckier, because I have you as a roommate.” Justin walked into the elevator, holding Marcos' hand. “Speaking of, I don’t know what you job actually is.”
“You don’t know what it is? Really? I thought I had told you when we first met…” Marcis in fact hadn’t told Justin about his ‘job’ ever, nor did he plan to -not now, not ever, “My bad entirely. I think I would’ve remembered, but I guess not. What about you? Did you ever have a job before?”
“I haven’t told you? I would have thought you would have figured it out by my constant video game playing, even games that haven’t come out yet…” Justin looked at Marcos, not really focusing on him as he thought. “Well, I work as a video game designer. I create all the characters and scenery and stuff, it pays extremely well. Especially when I’m the top designer. You still never said what your job is…”
“Whoops, sorry, silly me,” Marcos drawled, “But it’s so cool your a video game designer! I should’ve figured it out, you’re always so cute when you play. And I can imagine it pays well, I’m sure everyone wants to buy your video games.” Marcos leaned against Justin, wrapping an arm around the other’s waist as the elevator rose up.
Justin smiled. "Not to brag, but I am major sell out." Justin kissed his forehead again. "Now tell me what you do. I'm extremely curious."
Marcos inwardly cursed himself, and played it off as casual when he avoided the question, “It’s really a drab, quite boring. I’m not very special or anything with all that, I wish I could be a video game designer like you. I guess I should’ve tried to pay more attention in high school and all that.” Marcos shrugged, stepping out of the elevator rather quickly and attempting to change the subject, “Does it smell different in here to you? Maybe it’s because I haven’t smelled anything but hand sanitizer the past few days…”
"I never paid any attention while I was in high school. I always played some sort of games during class or I was doodling." Justin sniffed the air. "It smells the same to me…" Justin changed the subject back to what it was previously. "What type of drab Jon do you have?"
(Jon is supposed to be job)
“It- It really doesn’t matter,” Marcos insisted, his mind racing for an excuse, “I guess if you really want to know…” What job is boring, low pay, and strange hours? “I’m a -er- fire fighter,” He blurted without thinking it through, then nearly speeding to their room door, “I can’t -er- wait to see, um, Kolu.”
Justin chased after him. "You're a firefighter? That's so cool!" Then again Justin was amazed by almost anything. "I would think it would be more fun than drab…"
“Um, I —er— do mostly paperwork for the, um, others,” Marcos stared at the ground, fully aware of how bad of a lier he was, “So um, yeah. Pretty boring, you wouldn’t want to hear about it.”
Justin was intrigued by Marcos' job. "Tell me more. I told you all about mine." I wonder what type of paper work he does or who long he has been working there. Wait. He's almost always here. "What are your hours?"
“Uh- They, uh, shift around. Depends on the day…” Marcos chewed his lip awkwardly. What if he asks me about what type of stuff I have to do? I don’t know anything about fire fighting or any of that… A light sweat was beginning to appear on Marcos’ forehead and he shifted nervously on his feet.
Justin nodded, making sense of what Marcos said. "Oh, like depending on when there is a fire depends on when there's paperwork." He sat down on his bed. "If you don't like your job and it doesn't pay well then why don't you get a new one? The new house might even be to far away from your work… I never considered that since I work from here mostly…"
“I’ll be fine,” Marcos reassured with a smile, “I really can’t get a new job, I got really lucky for being hired in the first place,” It was true, in some aspects. The only other person Marcos knew that had some kind of power would be Hann, but that was it.
"Well you don't have to quit right away. You could look around and see if you get hired first then quit. That is if that's what you're worried about." Justin got up from his bed to go change in to some pajamas since it was getting late. "What do you enjoy doing that you could possibly get a job with?"
“I mean, I like to bake and cook, but I’m self taught so the closest I could get to that kind of job would a waiter,” Marcos mumbled, then went to get his own pajamas, “I like to crochet and read, but I couldnt’ make a job out of it.”
Justin grabs a t-shirt and sweatpants out of the closet. "I bet there is a restaurant near by or something." Justin comes back to his bed and changes his shirt.
“I dunno… I’ll think about it maybe,” Marcos wrung his hands a little bit, sitting on his bed. Kolu ran up and jumped onto his lap, “Hey, baby, did you miss me?” He scratched her chin and she started purring, which made him smile.
Justin changed his shirt and pants, he threw the dirty ones on the basket across the room. “It could be more enjoyable than you think…” Justin laid back on his bed.
Marcos snuck into the bathroom, changed, then came to sit on Justin’s bed with him with a smile. I would never get hired, but it’d be a nice fantasy, for now. “We’ll see…” He hummed for a second, “I still can’t believe we’re getting a house together.”
Justin pulled Marcos Dow. To lay next to him. "I still can't believe that myself…" Justin smiled.
