(But where's Zoey right now?)
(But where's Zoey right now?)
Some of the people were moving their chairs away from them actually, afraid of Luna. But Robin kept petting her as though nothing was out of the ordinary.
(I'm not sure where Zoey is, but I gtg shower. I'll try to be quick ^^)
(bye!)
(Kay I'll just have her walk in maybe.)
The receptionist walked up to Robin and Levi and said "Calla is up now, if you want to chat."
(Anyone here?)
Levi stood up from his seat, pulling Robin up with him. He brought Robin over to Calla's room, knocking on the door. "Calla?"
Calla perked up at the sight of them. She said weakly, "Come in."
Surprisingly, no one had asked him to take Luna back outside, so Robin brought her with him. He quietly entered the room, Luna tailing him closely.
Levi smiled and walked in, sitting in a chair near Calla. "So…how are you feeling?"
Zoey ran into Calla's room. "Hey." She said softly.
"Like I got hit by a train." Calla replied.
"Hi… Um, this may be auquard, but can I tell you something?"
Levi smiled slightly, hoping that she was joking. "Oh…well…yeah go ahead."
"Um, i-is that better or worse than before?" Luna trotted over to Calla's bed and licked her hand.
Zoey sat down unnoticed by Calla's bed, silently listening. She wondered if the others even realized that she was there.
"When I was born, I had an abnormally small heart. That's why I had a heart attack/ seizure. But my birth mom didn't want me. So I was taken to an orfanage. Then, My moms adopted me. Doctor Smith is actually my mom, and I'm technically a Smith-Heath. But I cut the Smith out of my name later. My other mom is actually on her way, she's just stuck in a traffic jam from work. She's a reporter." Calla told them, "Sorry if that was weird."
Calla blushed.
Levi stared at her. "That's…a lot to take in so quickly." (I have to guys bye!)
Robin listened quietly, sitting on the edge of the bed. "No, it's fine. I'm sure we all have stories like that which we'd rather not tell. You're very brave for sharing." He smiled at her, and Blackberry chirped. Luna licked Calla's hand again.
Calla smiled. Then Mrs. Heath rushed in and gave Calla a hug. Calla spluttered and said "Mom, you're embarrassing me!"
(I can't decide whether I ship Zobin or Ralla. I haven't decided a better ship name for Robin and Calla though…)
"Gloria, let Calla be. Teens don't do hugs." Dr. Smith chuckled.
"Ellen, let me hug her."
"Ellen, let me hug her."
(Mrs. Heath said.)
Robin stepped back, not wanting to be in the way. Neither woman seemed to notice Luna, which confused him. He whistled and Luna trotted towards him, sitting politely at his side.
Zoey smiled at Calla and her mother. " I had brain cancer Calla, so I understand."
Calla relented and let her mom hug her. "Oof!" Calla grunted.
Mrs. Heath said, "Whos a good puppy? Aren't you beautiful!" to Luna. Calla said to Zoey, "Yeah. I think cancer is worse, though. Imagine the body fighting itself, cell versus cell. But I've been here, like, a billion times, so it's no biggie."
