He nodded and ran back to the top of the hill, his legs starting to ache. Levi crouched down and did a front-roll down the hill like Lenny did, but much less graceful. He tumbled the whole way down and sprawled out on the grass when he got to the bottom.
"Isn't it fun?" she asked gleefully.
Levi nodded, laying on the ground and panting.
"This is so fun." she said, laying down beside Levi. ( brb gotta ice my ankle )
Hailey laughed and lay at the base of the hill.
"Days like this are the best days." said Lenny quietly.
He nodded again. "They are." Levi smiled, looking up at the clouds.
"Look, its a crescent moon shape." said Lenny, pointing to the sky.
Robin had turned towards the pond, staring into its depths and blocking out all noise other than soft bird chirps. He sat calmly, his face expressionless. Some people thought he was sad or depressed when he did this, but he was simply zoning out and was actually quite relaxed. It was very difficult for him to zone out if he was anxious.
"Yeah…and look that cloud's a dragon!"
Lenny smiled. "I love dragons." she exclaimed.
Levi looked over at her. "Ice dragons or fire dragons?"
"All the dragons." she replied.
He nodded. "Fair enough."
“Dragons are cool. There are fire ones, wind ones, water ones, but there aren’t any that live in the dirt.”
"Earth dragons…" Robin mumbled, vaguely paying attention to the conversation but mostly just watching the fish in the water.
( My cat is drinking the ice water that my foot is in )
(that's kind of cute but also weird)
( Yep. He's a weird cat. )
"I wonder if we'll find dragons." said Lenny thoughtfully. Then, she stood, and put her hands on her hips. "Guys, stand up. We're going to find a dragon." she announced.
Robin was still zoned out, off in his own little world. He wasn't even thinking of anything, just staring off into space and thinking of nothing at all. It was a nice break from having a cluttered mind.
Levi rolled his eyes. He knew they couldn't find a dragon, but he didn't want to ruin it for Lenny. He stood up. "Alright, let's go!"
Lenny knew they thought her stupid, but what they didn't know was that she had many surprises in store. "C'mon guys!" she said, skipping towards the woods.
Levi shoved his hands in his pockets and walked along side Lenny.
Robin snapped out of his daze. "Hmm? Where are we going?" He pulled himself to his feet, some of the bandages from the bear attack still visible. He looked confused, since he genuinely hadn't heard them.
"To find a dragon." Levi told him, looking back.
"A dragon? But they don-" He stopped at the look Levi gave him and shrugged. "Okay then, guess we're finding a dragon? Er, what kind?"
"Earth dragon." she responded, leaping into the forest.
Levi shrugged at Robin and continued to follow Lenny.
“I think they’d be bigger versions of worms. But WAY cooler.” Hailey said walking with them.
