Marcos blushed when Justin went to buy for him, walking up and leaning his chin on Justin’s shoulder. He wrapped his arms around Justin’s waist, “You’re a really good boyfriend, you know.”

Justin smile. "I know." He laughed, checking out.

Marcos laughed, then asked, “Can we go to the bike shop next? I want to see if they lowered the price on that one I wanted to get…” Marcos trailed off as he wrapped his hand into Justin’s.

"Sure." Justin left the store, taking Marcos' hand. He headed to the bike shop just down the street.

Marcos entered the store, peeking around the racks. A familiar voice called, “You’re back again, Mars (Can this be Macros’ nickname if that’s okay with you?)?” Marcos gave a tiny wave at the store owner, who watched casually from the counter, “And it seems you brought a friend! Welcome, my name is Renaldo.”

Justin looked at Marcos, laughing slightly. "Since when have you been called Mars?"

Marcos’ cheeks gained a pink tint, “Well it’s really only been him since he forgot my name one and he knew I liked stars and space and stuff from my last visit when I had went on a ramble and he just kinda called me Mars ever since,” Marcos made a cheeky grin, then went back to looking through the racks until he saw the bike. No sale, sadly, but it looked amazing as ever. Marcos touched the handle, wishing he could just buy it now.
Renaldo called from the counter, “Still looking at that one? When are you actually gonna buy it, kiddo?” Renaldo let out a chuckle, and Marcos laughed a little too.

Justin nodded along to Marcos' story. He followed Marcos to the bike. "Is that the bike you were talking about? It looks cool."

“Yeah,” Marcos sighed, “Still saving though, but maybe I can get it by next year.” Marcos made a tiny smile at Justin, “I guess I’m ready to head off to the next shop.”

"You just came here to look at the bike?" Justin walked over to the bike.

“I’ve been watching for a sale. They usually go up every Friday, but… the only sales that it has had haven’t been enough. But I almost got enough. I just need… a really good sale,” Marcos chuckled quietly turning slightly red, “I know it’s silly.”

Justin thought for a minute. "I would say I would buy it for you, but I know you would say no. So how about I pay the difference? You pay for what you can, and I'll pay for what you can't. Does that work for you, because you seem to really like this bike."

“No! No way, this is my purchase. I’d rather wait it out. If you were going to buy anything for me, you should buy that tandem-“ Marcos stopped when he realized his was leading on to his inner fantasy of him and Justin biking together romantically. Justin probably didn’t even want to bike.

"A tandem bike? Those are so cool! If you don't want one I'm definitely getting one for myself. And please just let me pay the difference, if you want you could pay me back, if that makes you feel any better."

“I-“ I would love to share a tandem bike with you, Justin, “I’m not letting you buy that bike, besides, I’m only a little bit short and I want to buy it myself. I’ll probably have enough by next week.” Marcos said confidently, then added somewhat shyly, “But a tandem bike would be really cool to have together…”

"I'm buying a tandem bike, you have no say about you paying for it. And please, please, please let me pay for the amount that you are short." Justin put his hands together, begging.

“Nope. You can buy the tandem bike, but I want that accomplishment for myself. I want to pay for it, you can pay for anything -everything- but that.” Marcos crossed his arms over his chest like a proud child.

Justin pleaded. "But you can pay me back. I can just see how much you want it…"

“No way. You can make up for it by buying me dinner for the rest of the week, how about that? I’ll even add you buying me breakfast and lunch if you really want to pay for everything.” Marcos took Justin’s hands in his with an apologetic look, “I want to buy it all up front, Justin. Please let me do that.”

Justin looked at Marcos' eyes and saw his wanting to complete a goal. "Fine." Justin caved. "But I get to pay for EVERYTHING else you want."

“Yay!” Marcos hugged Justin tightly, “You can pay for everything, then.” He grinned at Justin, “Even that tandem bike.” Marcos pecked Justin on the lips too, just to show how much he loved the guy.

Justin smiled. "Yay. I will buy anything and everything, I know how little money you have."

“Deal,” Marocs said, the looked to the store owner, “We want the tandem bike.” The man chuckled from the counter, walking over to help them take it out of the rack. Marcos looked happily at Justin, leaning his head on his shoulder.

He watched the guy take the bike down. Then Justin went over to pay for the bike, excited that he could help Marcos pay for the stuff he wanted.

Marcos eyed the price as Justin payed, but didn’t open his mouth. He was happy he could buy his own bike later. He wrapped his arms around Justin’s waist as the store owner gave them a smile, “Enjoy your bike, Mars and Mars’ friend.”
The man chuckled, and Marcos smiled at Justin, “Where are we going to store it?”

Justin paused got a moment trying to figure out a place to store it. "I would say the bike rack outside our apartment, but it might get stolen if it's there all the time, and it might be to big." The thought some more. It was to big to bring into the apartment and they had no other place to store it. He jokingly said, "maybe we should just get a new house together. Wouldn't that be fun, house shopping."

(Sorry I haven't been on much today. I had practice this morning than a game tonight and I took a nap in between)

Marcos’ eyes widened slightly at the thought, “Why shouldn’t we? We could get a house just outside the city or something, I did see that one when I went walking a long while ago-“ Marcos stopped himself and turned red when he realized Justin had been joking. He chewed his lip nervously, waiting for a reaction.

Justin hadn't considered the idea before but now that Marcos had, it seemed right. "Actually maybe we should get a new house. We are slightly cramped in the space that we do have." It was true, the space that they had now was only one room with a bathroom and closets.
