Andion didn’t bother to say anything to Blaine, as they walked, a smug smile on his face as they did. Eventually, they came to the towering double doors to Thranion’s office and Andion knocked. Shortly after they were let in.
“I see Andion’s already pissed you off, Blaine.” The assassin said from where he sat.
Blaine bit back a snark response and simply gave a faint nod.
"So, you wanted to speak with us?" she reminded Thranion, her gaze hard.
Thranion smirked, “Yes. We need to go over the plan.”
Andion stepped forward, “What’s the house plan like?”
“Well, it’s a two story house, located on the outside of the slums. Heavily guarded but the man you need to take out, Farron, will be in his office around eleven tonight.”
"What about animals? Are there any dogs we need to be aware of?" Blaine asked.
“None that I know of but be careful.” Thranion said, his voice no longer light hearted.
Blaine nodded. "Yes, sir. Is there anything else?"
“It needs to be done within an hour time slot. He finishes his meeting and has another soon after, giving you exactly an hour to work with, got it?”
Andion nodded, “Got it.”
"Got it," Blaine declared. "Is that all, then?"
“Yes that’s all. Go train or something.” Thranrion said, waving them both off.
“Thank you, Sir.” Andion said before turning and walking out.
Blaine nodded once.
"Yes, sir," she said, then quickly stepped out after Andion. She caught up to him and walked beside him. "Care to do some hand-to-hand?"
“Sure, If it means a chance to kick your ass.” He said as they walked through the halls to the sparing rings.
"Ha! You wish," Blaine laughed, rolling her eyes. They stepped into the room, and Blaine immediately went to get ready.
“Please, I’m far better at hand to hand then you are.” He said, taking up his personal sword and daggers.
"Oh, when I said hand to hand, I meant with our only weapons being ourselves," Blaine explained, seeing the sword and daggers. "And we both know who beat who last time, even though you still declare it to be a draw."
Andion looked over and dropped the weapons, taking his shirt off as well, “I only say it was a draw, because it was a draw.”
"It most certainly was not," Blaine argued, walking over to the mat. She'd gone behind a screen and changed into something a bit more fitting for a match. "Shall we see who's better? Again?"
“Of course, but we both know it’s me.” Andion said, stretching slightly before smiking, “Come at me, Lady.”
Blaine huffed and swung one arm at his head, then swung the other at his gut, hoping to catch him off guard.
Andion caught the one going to his head and the one to his gut before kicking the other in her stomach.
"Oof," Kasey huffed, pulling her arms out of his grasp. She backed up for a moment, circling him, then aimed a kick at his stomach.
Andion stepped backwards the swiped his foot underneath her legs, knocking her to the ground, “Who’s better now??
Blaine scowled and swept at his legs, causing him to fall to the ground as well. She stood and took a step back.
"Still undecided," she declared.
Andion growled and stood, taking a step back before a few forward and kicking at her stomach.
Blaine caught his leg and pulled on it, hoping he'd lose his balance and fall again. When he fell onto his back, she walked over to him and placed a foot on his throat.
"Give up yet?"
“Never.” He spat, he grabbed her foot and shoved it to the left before rolling over, standing and kicking her to the ground. He placed a foot on her stomach and put most of his weight on it.
Blaine coughed, then grimaced. That hurt, for goodness sake.
She used both hands to push on his leg, successfully getting it off her stomach as she rolled away and stood. She coughed again before turning to face Andion, her fists balled up and fire in her eyes.
Andion laughed and smirked at how angry the other was, “Come on! Or are you too scared to lose, but I don’t think a Lady like yourself should be fighting an assassin anyway.”
Blaine growled and swung at him again. When she missed, she spun and kicked him in the side.
Andion stumbled a little but kicked her square in the stomach. When she stumbled back he grabbed both her arms, pulling them behind her back and knocked her feet from underneath her, “Give up?”
"No," Blaine spat, wriggling to get out of his grip.
