There was most likely a stupid smile plastered on Vash's face as they kissed, and if you'd have asked her how she felt at that moment she'd have probably said it felt like time stopped. Which is how much describe it. But it was true. She felt as if time had stopped, as of everything in the world was perfect. It felt like she could stand there but the curl reality was that she couldn't. Her phone ringing brought her back to the real would. "Crap…sorry" she said pulling back and answering.
Blue turned back, a smile on his face that wouldn’t go away as he looked at Vash. Curse the phone… He grabbed her free hand, circling his thumb on it lazily as she answered.
The voice on the other end was someone Vash didn't recognize. She almost hung up.
"Vash Adams?" It asked. A female voice that sounded almost hopeful.
"Um…yes. And who is this?" She glanced to blue giving an apologetic look.
"Um, you don't really know me but-" the voice seemed to choke on a sob, "but I'm your mother. I know reconnecting after all these years seems like a wast. But I wanted to meet my daughter."
Vash's mouth hung open in disbelief. now!? Of all times? You wanted to get to know me now!? she couldn't seem to voice her thoughts. after all I've been threw? she was filled with rage, and joy. But she couldn't voice any of it. All she could do was hang up and just look at Blue. "Holy heck." She whispered in disbelief.
“What?” Blue took both her hands now, a look of worry covering his face, “What is it, is it your father?” If it was something about that man- Blue leashed his anger for Vash.
"That was my mom…my real mom." Vash shook her head. no way. It had to have been a prank…right? she put her phone back in her pocket. "Wow" she whispered. she wanted to reconnect… her mind raced.
A new look of shock appeared on his face, “Vash, that’s- that’s- What do you think? What did she say?” He put his arms on Vash’s shoulder’s reassuringly. It could be an amazing thing, but… but what did her mother want? Why was she calling now?
"Its…she- I hung up on her" Vash tripped on her words. "I don't want to meet her right now." or ever. she shook her head wishing the phone had never wrung. "Whatever…screw her" she smiled up at Blue trying to push what just happened from her mind.

“Are you sure? You can talk to me if you need or want to, I’ll always be here for you,” Blue told her sincerely, looking deeply into her eyes. He wanted to make sure Vash felt safe, she felt okay to talk about things like that with him if she needed to.
"Yeah no…its fine. I'm sure she's already called Joe if she really wanted to meet me" Vash shrugged. "Its fine" She wanted to forget. She needed to forget.
(sorry I umm… i accidentally fell asleep for thirty minutes… best nap ever might I add) Kate blushed harder, but finally got herself together. "I will." She laughed a little. He's so adorable. She brushed over where the clip rested in her hair.
Ty so badly wanted to kiss here, but with Serra here it would be a bit hard. "You're so adorable." He brushed his finger over her cheeks before quickly looking over his shoulder. Serra's back was towards them as she looked over the lake and ate her sandwich. Ty pulled Kate closer and kissed her, his hand still on her cheek.
Kate was careful as she kissed him back, aware that Serra was there. But at the same time, she was reckless. She wrapped her arms around him bringing him closer. It was a gentle kiss, both of them cautious. His lips were soft and warm, which made her heart flutter more.
"Yeah no…its fine. I'm sure she's already called Joe if she really wanted to meet me" Vash shrugged. "Its fine" She wanted to forget. She needed to forget.
“Alright,” Blue gently tugged her closer to him, “C’mere then. We can just ignore it for now.” Blue smiled at her, “Besides, If I remember correctly, that phone interrupted us from kissing.”
Vash held in a small laugh, "I guess so." She pecked him on the lips teasingly. "We should probably get going though. Its hot out here, and I'm a gross sweaty mess."
“You are not gross,” Blue said, wrapping his arm around her and walking out into the park with her, “But I suppose we should get going. Where do you want to go, love?”
Vash thought for a second, "honesty. I have no idea." she laughed at herself, "where do you wanna go?" She asked looking to Blue. She didn't really care where they went as long as they where together.
“Let’s walk through town? I heard they were setting up for a festival or something, and there might be music,” Blue said with a small smile, “It can be a date or something.”
Ty's heart was beating fast, and beat even more when she pulled him close. He pulled Kate onto his lap, forgetting the his sister was right there. She'll have to pull away first because he didn't want to stop. Kate's lips were soft, like always. He basically melted when they would kiss.
Kate felt like yet chest was going to explode. Caution was thrown to the wind as it became more passionate, a flame, colors blinding them from the world.
One hand rest on her hip and the other on her cheek. Ty was to blinded by her and this amazing kiss that the world around him became a blur. "I love you." He said as he stopped just long enough for them to catch their breath then kissed her again.
Kate was about to answer when he pulled her back in. She smiled into it, her arms wrapped around his shoulder. She leaned into him a little further to absorb his warmth. I love you too.
"So, I know you guys are in love and all but can this wait till your alone." Ty froze at the small voice coming from behind him. Serra was clearly angry that they were doing this and ignoring her. "You're supposed to be spending time with me!" Serra stood up tears in her eyes. "No, you're right I'm sorry." He looked to Kate and smiled. He didn't want her to think it was her fault. Ty lifted Kate off his lap and turned towards Serra and opened his arms. Serra sat in his lap and hugged him.
Kate felt guilt wash over. There was a different flame in her chest, one that was swallowing her lungs. "Sorry there Serra." She forced a smile back to Ty. They need some time alone. "Hey, I'll be right back, I'm going to go change." She grabbed her bag and started towards the bathroom.
"I made her sad." Serra said as she hugged her brother. "No." Ty shook his head. "It's my fault not yours." Serra stood up and ran after Kate and Ty was there to sit alone. "Kate?" Serra called her name when she got into the bathroom.
Kate had just finished changing and opened the stall door when Serra called her. "Yes?" She walked over to Serra. "Is everything okay? She gave her a concerned look.
"You're not going to leave us right?" Serra loved Kate and didn't want her to leave. "I'm sorry if I made you sad. I just didn't want you take take my brother away, but I do want you to stay with him. Just, can you share him?" She looked up at Kate through her eyelashes.
"Oh, Serra." Kate sighed and crouched giving Serra a hug. "Listen. I love you both. I would never-" she caught herself "-I'm not leaving anytime soon, okay? And I would never take him away either." She sighed again. "And as for making me sad, you didn't." She gave her a reassuring smile. "I just thought that you two should spend time together. That and I was getting cold even with Ty's hoodie." She hugged Serra again, holding onto for a split second longer. "Now, you go back and I'll be there in a few minutes, okay?"
Serra nodded and ran back outside. Ty was laying down on the blanket soaking in the sunlight. What are they talking about? He closed his eyes. He decided he was going to get a job and try and find his own place. Then see if it was possible to adopt his sister from his mom, it will be difficult with his record though. It was under self defense, so he should be good. Serra came over and laid down next to her brother.
Kate stood up and faced the sink. She placed her hand on the edges and leaned over it. What have you done? She scoffed at herself. You're getting ahead of yourself. She closed her eyes. Despite living in the same house her entire life, everything was always temporary for her. It wasn't even that it was, it was just the mindset that she had. 'How many more days of my mother not loving me? Only a little longer. How many more days will my father continue? Not many. How much longer till Hazel comes back? Just a little.' She used it to save herself. She used it so much, it's always been there. It got to the point where is was, 'How much longer will I stay here?' Only one more day.' Then she met Xavier. In the back of her head, she still had it going through her mind. With Ty, it disappeared. But she didn't want to make empty promises. She found that to be the worst lie that someone could tell. After a few minutes, he gathered herself together and walked back out to them.
Serra was asleep, but Ty just had his eyes closed until he heard foot steps and opened his eyes to see Kate. "Hey." He stood up and took her hands. "I'm so sorry about earlier. It was my fault I should've known when to stop."
