"Are you kidding? I love drives! Especially if it's with you." She smiled at him. Anything seems to be better with you. She thought of the lake. She'd never actually been swimming. She's swam before. Alone. But she never counted that because she'd always thought swimming was something to do with someone else.
"Cool." He went and gathered a few things, like, his swim trunks and a blanket for someone to sit on next to the lake. "Serra, let's." She came out wearing a summer dress with her swimsuit on underneath. "Alright let's go." He grabbed the truck keys and walked outside.
Kate followed them outside to the truck. Sye looked up at the sky. It was a clear blue, clouds scatrered around, moving slowly. The sky was light blue until right above her. That was a deep, blue. She sighed at the beauty.
(I'm going to skip to when they get to the lake.)
He pulled into a parking lot at a small shopping outlet near the lake. "We can pretty much walk everywhere. It's a small place." He got out and carried the bag with all there stuff. "So, swimming or shopping first, my girls?" He held both their hands.
She looked around. It was the kind of place she could stay forever. She smiled up at the sky. "I don't know." She looked over to Serra. "What would you like to do first?"
The trail ended too quickly, making Blue frown. He looked Vash, not realizing he was staring. She was just alway pretty, it made his heart flutter. But a nagging thought hung in the back of his mind, making him chew his lip subconsciously.
Vash sighed at the end, not yet ready for their walk to be over. "Something on your mind?" She asked noticing Blue chewing his lip. She worried about him most of the time. Scared she wouldn't know when something was horribly wrong.
"Shopping, Kate still needs a swimsuit." Serra dragged them off to the store. "Don't worry Ty will buy." Ty nodded and walked into the store. "Don't worry, I'll buy you a swimsuit." He squeezed her hand.
She squeezed back. "You really don't have to." She didn't want to have him spend money on her. Especially when she had no way of paying him back.
"No, I'm going to get you one. Swimming wont be as fun if your not swimming with us." He walked over to swimsuits and started to look through them. Light colors would look good on her. Serra did the same.
(Sorry, my brain's a bit frazzled.) Kate followed a bit behind, unsure of which one to choose. She watched as they looked through them. She wasn't sure if any of them would really look good on her.
"I like this one!" Serra pulled out a light blue swimsuit that had mermaid scale like patterns on it. Ty put his back he wasn't sure if it was appropriate for a boyfriend to pick his girlfriends swimsuit out. He wasn't even sure if she would like it.

“Oh, uh-“ Blue turned a bit red and stared at the ground, “I just… I dunno… Do you notice anything, I dunno, weird?” He started wringing his hands, still debating if he should’ve brought it up.
Vash cocked her head confused, "what do you mean?" She asked worry eitched into her face. somethings wrong. Something happened. Her mind raced with what it's.
Kate look just passed Serra. Behind her was a turquoise swimsuit with polkadots. That's pretty. She heard Serra, snapping her back to attention. "I - uh yeah, that's pretty." (https://goo.gl/images/1fegNC Kinda like this)

“Just…” Blue chewed his lip before forcing himself to spit it out, “I just feel like there’s something strange between us, not necessarily bad, but I just feel like we- Like the arm thing? I guess- It’s just not, uh, normal? I feel like I should be worrying about it more and-“ Blue cut himself off when he realized he was rambling, “I- Sorry, I just-“ Blue let out a tired sigh. Vash probably didn’t feel the same way, or maybe she didn’t like him now, or…
"Yeah, that's much cuter than this." Serra put hers back and grabbed the swimsuit shoving into Ty's arms. "Kate wants this. Now let's go buy it and go swimming." Serra grabbed her brothers hand and took him to the checkout station.
"No-I-" She tried to stop them from buying it, but they had already began checking out. She stood back and watched them take the bag. "Honestly, you didn't have to."

"I-" she stopped to think. "I guess its weird…" She mumbled. And it was. It was strange that things like that where even possible, but she never really gave it a second thought. She was just happy to have a connection to someone, even if said connection was strange. "Should we ask a doctor or something?" She thought that'd be weird to go up to a doctor, but she wanted blue to feel better about it. To not think they, she was a freak.
"Kate." Ty kissed her. "I love you, and I wanted to do this." He handed her the bag. "There's a bathroom near the lake, we can change there. Now let's go my girls." Ty picked up Serra and grabbed Kate's hand and led them out walk towards the lake.
Kate's cheeks were red. Gosh, I love him. She held his hand tightly as they walked to the lake. There were a few people around the lake, not enough to disturb. The sky was still the same as when they left, blue with few clouds. There was a faint smell of barbeque drifting through the air. While looking around, she spotted the bathroom. "I'll be right back." She headed for it, taking the bag with her. She quickly got changed and looked in the mirror. It looked much better on the rack than on me. She turned to examine it. This wasn't a good idea. She stood there for a few moments before walking back out to Ty, arms crossed over her chest. Nope nope nope, I don't like this.
Serra was already in the water playing. She was a great swimmer and Ty wouldn't be surprised if she became a pro one day. He turned to see Kate in her swimsuit. She's beautiful. "Wow, you look amazing!" He stood and walked over to her. "Blue looks good on you." He kissed her again and took his swim trunks, which were just plain black. "I'll be right back. Mind watching Serra for me?"
I don't like this. I don't like this. Not one bit. She did feel a little better that Ty liked it. "I- umm. Yeah, sure." She walked closer to the water and watched Serra play as Ty walked off.
Ty changed quickly. He had a decent body, not as muscular as Xavier's, but Ty does work out every day, so he is fit. He put his shirt back on, still feeling insecure about himself especially when he thinks of Xavier. "Back." He walked back out, now feeling weird that he had his shirt on.
She turned to him, noticing he still had his shirt on. "Are you cold or something?" She walked closer to him and took his hand. He knows he's good looking, right?
"Uh- I, no I'm not." He looked away completely embarrassed. "It's just you know, you went from Xavier to me. It's kind of a downgrade." Ty lost a lot of people because of thing he's done or said, he didn't think he was good enough for Kate and didn't want to lose her.
"Liar. I think it's an upgrade." She put her hand on his cheek and turned his face to look at her. "I love you. Okay? I love you and all your perfect imperfections." She smiled at him.
Her smile made him a little better. "Thank you." He pulled her close into a hug. "Hey! Am I going to be the only one swimming or are you going to join me?" Serra watched them from the side. "Right." He pulled his shirt off and smiled. "We better listen to the princess."
Kate laughed. Goodness, he's- She caught herself. Watch it there. "We better." She laughed again as they walked together towards the water. Kate put her foot in and almost screamed. "That! That's cold." She stepped back out. "You go ahead, I'll just stand here."
Ty back away a bit then then forward and jumped into the water. Kate was right, it was cold, but rather get it over then. He popped out of the water and pushed his hair from his face. "You're right, it is cold. But winter is only just now ending, so it makes sense that it's cold." He laughed hugging himself.
Kate laughed with him. "I mean, yeah." The light his his face just right, all the droplets of water shining on his face. "You're such an idiot," she said with a laugh. She wasn't sure how he could handle that much cold.
