He couldn't say anything, he didn't necessarily want Kate to see him like this, but because he loves her he wanted her to he his vulnerable side. All he wanted was his sister back, to hold her in his arms and kiss her forehead goodnight. Rose walked over and sat on the ground as well and held him along with Kate.
They we're this little bundle of emotions. She wasn't sure what to do when she knew the only thing that would stop this was Serra being here. For now, she just let him cry in her and Rose's arms. (I'm in more shock than Kate which means I've got no ideas)
(Hey, that only means I did a good job. So, I'll take that as a compliment.)
After a while he calmed down and moved to the couch and covered his face so Kate wouldn't see how much of a mess. " My mom completely ignored me, it's like I wasn't even born to her." He wiped his face a bit. "And hearing Serra call me like that just breaks my heart."
Kate stayed on the ground, scared that if she held him too tight, something would break. A rising pain in her chest struck her heart. She couldn't tell him it was okay because it wasn't. She couldn't tell him his mom was a jerk because that was obvious. She couldn't do anything but sit there and let him feel like this.
(Now I do have to go, nighteo)
He took a deep breath and held out his arms for Kate, still not looking at her though. "Can you just hold me, I don't want to be alone right now." He felt tears again when he said that and just closed his eyes. Kate being there meant the world to him.
Kate immediately got up and sat with him. She wrapped her arms around him. She realized now why she was here. She held him as close as she could. "I'm here," she whispered softly.
Ash continued to follow Liam outside and under the shade of the closest tree. She took a seat at the base of the trunk and leaned back so her head was resting on the tree, closing her eyes as she got comfortable.
Liam saw ash with her eyes closed and started humming fireflies by owl city whilst sketching her
Ty hugged as closer as her could without crushing her. "Thank you for being here, you have no idea how much this means to me. Also, I'm sorry you had to see all that." He lifted his head a buried his face in the nape of her neck. "I just want you to know everything about me, no hiding."

Ash smiled once she figured out what song Liam was humming. Fireflies was one of her favorites and she began to softly sing the lyrics, still keeping her eyes closed and her back against the tree.
"I will be here whenever you need me. And there's no need to be sorry." She thought for a second. She didn't want to to hide either, but now was not the time. "Okay, no hiding." I'll tell him later, right?
After a while Ty fell asleep on Kate's shoulder. "Kate dear, are you alright?" Rose knew seeing something like that could be stressful for someone. She handed her some calming tea and sat in her rocking chiar.
Kate kept a hold of Ty with one arm, grabbing the tea with the other. She took a small sip before answering quietly. "Yes." She paused for a moment. Her voice became sharp but quiet. "How could she do that?"
"She not the best mother, but we don't have evidence to prove anything to get Serra to come live here. I'm just grateful that she even let's him see her." Rose to a sip and looked over at the sleeping Ty. "You're a special girl, I thank you for being here today."
"I wouldn't have missed it." She looked down at Ty. His face was calm and quiet. Not smiling, but calm. Her voice softened. "I'm glad he can see her."
(Don't mind me but, So pure and innocent!!! Also screw you Ty's mom.)
(Yeah, screw her!)
"He may have some hard times in the future, but I hope you are the one beside him." Rose smiled and sipped her tea. "I heard you were dating Xavier at first, Ty would come home and talk about you all the time."
"I-" she laughed lightly and looked up to her. "Yeah. But it was too perfect, you know? It almost felt fake. Buy with Ty," she sighed, "it's a broken and beautiful reality that I can't help but feel at home in."
"Hey!" Vash shouted as she stomped up to Blues father and jabbed a finger in his face, "leave him alone, or I will call the cops." Her tone taking on a venom all its own. She narrowed her eyes at him anger showing on her face. inside every instinct screamed to back down, but she wouldn't, nor did she.
Blue’s father looked at her with distaste, “I haven’t done anything wrong, kid,” He started pulling Blue along, who shot a look at Vash and silently begging her to back down. If his father did anything to her- “Boy, you aren’t associating with disrespectful trash.” The strict order… Blue shrank as he was pulled along.
"He's a kind boy, although I feel he doesn't care for himself at all. He's someone who would rather jump in front of a gun for someone rather then think of another way out." Ty stirred a little in his sleep. He grabbed Kate and pulled her down with him spilling the hot tea on his arm that immediately woke him up. "Oh my G- Ow, that hurt!"
Vash had a look of shock on her face, "I will call the cops." She threatened again her eyes hard but if you looked close enough you could see the slight tremor going threw her body. "I know that you hurt him." She narrowed her eyes and clenched her fists as of she wanted to punch Blues father.
“I didn’t hurt him. Why would I hurt my son?” Gosh, Blue’s father sounded so believable, but his grip tightened immensely on Blue’s upper arm. That sentence, that one little sentence that Vash said… a world of trouble. Blue stared at the ground, trying to make his face neutral as his father said, “Where on earth would you get that idea?” Blue was smart enough to know that his father was challenging Vash for evidence, and since his bruises had faded over the time Blue spent away from his father… There wasn’t any evidence left.

Kate felt the tea burn her leg, but she ignored it. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" She picked up the mug hoping to stop anymore from spilling.
"Y-Yeah I think so." He looked down at his arm and noticed some got on Kate's leg. Immediately he stood up and grabbed a towel with cold water and set it on her leg. "Are you okay?" He didn't care about his arm, as long as Kate was fine he didn't care.

"I- he showed me." crap what am I doing? Vash knew she was only digging the hole deeper. "Look. Just-" she didn't know what to say, but then it hit her, she knew it'd sound crazy but she knew what to say, and do. She pulled her sleave up and raked her nails down her arm leaving a bit of blood, she looked to blue mouthing an apology, of all times this better work she thought before returning her gaze to his father.
There was a stinging relief to it, but not too much. "I- uh- yeah." She smiled. He was so caring even when. He was hurt. In multiple ways.
"Are you sure?" He turned to his grandma, "Do we have some burn cream?" Rose just nodded and gave Kate a 'I told you look.' Ty rather no one else get hurt if that meant him getting hurt. Ty went to the bathroom to search for the cream
Blue’s world seemed to fracture just a little bit as he watched Vash hurt herself. It was just her and him, and Blue hadn’t even realized he got out of his father’s grip until he was grabbing Vash’s shoulders in desperation. Blue barely even felt the pain on his arm as he whispered in a panic, “Don’t do that for me, Vash, Vash, why did you do that?”
Blue’s father had been stunned, but after a few seconds he yanked Blue away, “We’re going f-cking home, get in the f-cking car. We’re are going to have a little f-cking chat.”
The towel had quickly warmed up with the tea still hot beneath it. The cool slowly faded and she was left with what felt like a full flame running up her leg. She looked over to Rose seeing what she meant.
"I'm back." He bent down and removed the towel and put the burn cream on her leg and rubbed it in. "Is it feeling better?" He looked up at her his face full of concern.
