"Oh, it's much better. Thank you." Honestly Xira forgot about her knee until Amber mentioned it. "I don't think anyone should ever try and buy anyone's love." Someone buying someone else's love sounded pathetic in her opinion. Trying your best to earn it sounded a lot better, or maybe Xira was just old fashioned. "Anyway I can't wait to get some food."

“Yeah, well, he thought that was the best way to make me like him since joust ‘talking it out’ wasn’t working. I don’t think I was nice to him for a least a year when he started dating my mom,” Amber hummed. She reached down to switch on the radio before pulling out of the garage and onto the street. “Oh god, me too. Trust me, you’ll love this place.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"What do they have there?" Xira wanted to know so she cab think about what she wants before hand. She watched as the scenery passed by them. It was a pretty place, she wished there were more forests and stuff. Wildlife was her favorite thing, she never really a city person.

@Desvelarse pets

“They have a lot of good coffees, pastries, sandwich and salad stuff.. There’s a lot of things, we can look at the menu when we get there,” Amber said. She reached over and turned the radio up a bit more so she could hear a song, and she hummed along to it.

@Fantasy-Illy!

(I'm extremely sick today, so um not sure how well my writing will be.)
Xira was probably going to get a salad. They are healthy and filling, plus they are just good. "I can't wait to see this place." She wondered if it was big or small. It would most likely smell of coffee. "Thank you for taking me out." Xira would just have to be on alert to make sure nothing happens.

@Desvelarse pets

(That’s okay, feel better!)

“Yeah, of course. I wouldn’t be much of a host if I didn’t feed you,” Amber said, laughing after she spoke. After a few more minutes of driving, she pulled in front of a smaller, rustic building, and parked on the curb. “Here it is,” she said with a grin, taking off the sunglasses, turning off the car, and getting out.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I like it… it gives off that old coffee shop vibe." Xira always liked old thing, they just interested her. Following behind Amber she walked into the building, they had older looking lights and nice wood floors. She liked it a lot. "I take it you come here often." She laughed, sticking close to Amber and eyeing everyone in the room.

@Desvelarse pets

“Yeah, I know right. This place has been around for a while, so most of the stuff is original,” Amber explained as she stepped into the line. “And I do come here pretty often. They have great things here,” she added.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Do the people know you?" She's heard about how people go to a curtain place so much that the workers know them. Xira was a bit nervous by how many people were in here, and debated whether she wanted to grab on to Amber's arm to calm her, or just suffer through it? She chose the second one, it might be too weird if she depended on Amber to much. "So, I'll probably just get a salad."

@Desvelarse pets

“I’m not sure about the workers, but the manager does,” Amber said. “A while ago, the place was going to go out of buisness, so I complained to my stepdad, and he gave the owner some big investment.” She nodded her head a bit and looked up at the board that listed the various items. “A salad does sound really good, I might get that too. Probably a smoothie too, they have the best smoothies here.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I want a smoothie as well." Xira bumped into Amber when someone ran into her. It was a young boy and for a moment he just stared at her. "Mommy look at her, she looks weird." The mother quickly apologized and took her son and left. This is a time when Xira wished she was wearing a hoodie. She knew this was going to be a bad idea, and she should have just stayed home. Sinking lower, she felt small in this place.

@Desvelarse pets

Amber’s brows had raised at the boy’s comment, and she had been about to snap at the mother for not keeping her kid in check. “Jesus, what a bitchy kid,” she muttered, eyes narrowed at the woman before she looked back at Xira. “Don’t let that get to you, he’s just a kid and male, and men don’t know anything,” she laughed. “Besides, all those markings or whatever they are look like tattoos, and tattoos are hot.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Now I just feel awkward. Is anyone looking?" All she could do was look at the ground, and try her best to cover her hair. "Maybe I should dye my hair, at least that will help me blend in a bit more." They made it to the counter and Xira quickly ordered then hid behind Amber. She didn't want to hear another remark or see anymore stares. It was bad enough that she already knew she looked different, but people were pointing it out.

@Desvelarse pets

“No, no one is staring at you weird or anything,” Amber said as she shook her head. “You don’t need to dye your hair either. I doubt that’s why the boy said that, anyways. He probably said it because of the markings or whatever. People dye their hair strange colors these days all the time, mine it white too.” When it was their turn to order, she ordered her food as well. “Let’s go sit down, they’ll bring the food out to us.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Okay.." Xira followed close behind and sat at a booth by the window. They had beautiful flowers outside of many colors. Xira really liked them. "They take care of their flower really well." It looked like there weren't any dead ones.

@Desvelarse pets

Amber turned her head to look out the windows and at the flowers. “Oh yeah, they do look nice,” she commented. Truth be told, she never paid too much attention to the flowers before. But now that Xira pointed them out, she was seeing how beautiful they were.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"I really like colorful things, so see these helps me relax." It was probably due to being locked up in such a dull place for so long. "Okay, I'm feeling much better now." He took a deep breath then smiled. Who cares what the kid said. "What about you, do you like colorful things?"

@Desvelarse pets

“Huh, that’s interesting,” Amber hummed when Xira told her that. She thought about Xira’s question before responding. “Colorful things are nice. I’m not a fan of very vibrant and neon colorful things, pastels are more of my vibe,” she explained.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Actually, a pastel pink is my favorite color." Her eyes moved to Amber's a soft smile crossed her lips. "This is much better then where I was before I met you." The small cell she was kept in was dark and cold. They weren't very visible, but she had Mark's from all the needles they would poke her with. Ot was a horrible place that she refused to go back to. Xira squeezed her eyes tight, trying to get rid of the memories of that place. Her finger repeatedly tapping on the table.

@Desvelarse pets

“Mm, that’s a good color,” Amber agreed with a nod. She was about to ask what Xira meant by that, but their food came. She thanked the waiter who brought the things, waiting for them to walk away before she spoke up again. “Where were you?” She questioned.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Oh, I was in some sort of lab." She shrugged. "Well, at least I think so. I wasn't paying attention much, you know I was kind of running for my life." She laughed. Not really wanting to talk it anymore. "If you want to know more let's wait till me get back home." She took a bite of food while still looking at the flowers.
(Sorry it sucks.)

@Desvelarse pets

(It’s okay! It’s good, better than some things that I’ve seen lol)

Amber’s brows raised at the mention of a lab. “Damn, that’s insane. Kind of makes me think about Area 51 or something. You weren’t there, were you?” She chuckled. But she nodded when Xira said they would talk about it later. She took a sip of her smoothie, humming afterwards. “Mm, that’s so good.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

(Sometimes my brain just can't come up with things so I type randomly and hope it comes out good. Haha.)
Xira hadn't tried the smoothie yet and gave it a look. "Is it really?" She didn't get much when she was locked up. Hesitantly she grabbed it and took a sip. The sweetness of the fruity drink was very pleasing "you're right!" She drank it a bit faster, which ended up with her having a brain freeze. "I should have drank the slower, but it was just so good. A small laugh came from Xira.

@Desvelarse pets

(Lol, same here)

Amber watched Xira’s expression shift, and she laughed. Her laugh seemed quite vibrant and a bit loud, but very infectious. “Yeah, you probably should have,” she chirped, a bright grin on her face. She set down her drink before picking up her fork and taking a big bite of the salad.

@Fantasy-Illy!

(I'm sorry I'm watching a movie.)
The smile on Xira's face slowly disappeared as she looked out the window again. Once in a while she would take a bite of the food in front. She couldn't help but think of the things they've done to her. Xira squeezed her eyes shut hoping that would help.

@Desvelarse pets

(It’s all good, I’m doing some last minute summer work anyways)

Amber continued to eat her food. She looked down at her nails as she did so. After a moment of thought, she glanced up and over at Xira. “Hey, are you good?” She asked, arching a brow in question.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Hm. What? Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Xira snapped out of her thoughts and smiled at Amber. "How is your salad?" Nodding to Amber's salad, she also looked down at her own salad which she barely touched.

@Desvelarse pets

Amber gave Xira an unconvinced look, but decided that she would pester the other about it later. “It’s really good, super refreshing,” she answered, smiling a bit as she spoke. “What about yours, huh?” She asked, but noticed that Xira hadn’t eaten much of it.

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Oh, yeah it is, thank you." She took another bite, not making eye contact. "This is a very nice place I can see why you like it." The people were very kind, besides the kid. That doesn't matter now anyway. "What other pretty places are around here?" She looked out the window to try and see some if there was somewhere with more flowers.

@Desvelarse pets

“Yeah, it’s pretty great here,” Amber agreed with a smile. She came to this cafe quite often, maybe twice a week or so. She took a sip from her smoothie before responding to Xira. “Um, well there’s a few nice shops around here. Theres a city park, so that’s kind of nice.”
