(Great! Also, really quick, what should we do for age?)

Probably 25+ but idk?
That's just an age I think would work.
But I dunno.
(That sounds good.)
Name: Alana Jex
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bi
Species: Mutant Human
Appearance (include clothing and such):
Personality: Develop
Talents: Can both shoot energy beams out of her hand and use them for flight, and also has insanely powerful psychic/empathic/etc abilities.
Weaknesses: Can't use her powers for too long or it will start to physically injure her, cannot control her abilities completely, it's normally quite painful to use her powers (I mean, with the energy beams.), gets incredibly fatigued after prolonged usage of powers.
Background: Was genetically engineered in a laboratory, somehow met her best friend (and later worst enemy) (I mean your character, @urban just so you know lol) there. Was used as a weapon, which caused her to go insane. She killed all of the people who hurt her and decided that the world would have to pay, so she amplified her powers via a special serum and took control over everyone's minds, except for a few strong-willed people who eventually stopped her reign of terror.
Other: Has asthma, something that barely anyone, even the people closest to her, know. I mean, villains normally don't have disabilities, do they? Very good at cooking, has an obsession over Latin, poetry, and general language.
Is she alright?
My character isn't the most developed, sorry. I usually tend to use my less-developed characters, just so I can flesh them out a bit more.
Also I found the pic on the internet cuz I'm lazy. There's no way I would ever be able to draw something so cool. Stick figures are about my limit.
Are you gonna make your character now?
(Yeah, I’m making him now.)
(Okay, cool!)
Name: Vaughn Finley.
Age: 26 years old.
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Pansexual.
Species: Human with super strength.
Appearance (include clothing and such): https://i.pinimg.com/736x/22/2c/ee/222cee64940d80ef28cee3ac8c999f91.jpg, various small scars along skin, a tattoo on the inside of his upper forearm that says ‘Adeline’ in what appears to be child like hand writing, more of a toned build, around 6’2 or so. Not a big fan of costumes, so he usually tends to wear a white button up, black slacks, a black suit jacket, and nicer black shoes.
Personality: Before you get to know him- seems very cold, defensive, mysterious, quiet, introverted, rough, not someone who would be merciful, secretive, seems very clever, and aggressive. After getting to know him- a bit more talkative, loyal, over protective, still a bit defensive, a bit more gentle and understanding, generous, helpful, and passionate.
Talents: Lying, is very good with kids, and can be decent in combat (though is not specifically trained in any particular form of it).
Weaknesses: Can be easily angered and usually resolves things using violence, it’s very easy to loose his trust and he is not too forgiving most of the time, and he finds it difficult to control his strength (as in, for example, if he were to lean with his hand up against a wall, his hand would break through the wall completely accidentally).
Background: He grew up in a normal family with his dad (Jack), mom (Catherine), and little sister (Adeline). When he was 13, Jack came home drunk, and to summarize what happened, Jack murdered both Catherine and Adeline (who was 8 at the time) and dismembered the remains. Vaughn witness all of this, and he developed Agoraphobia and Pistanthrophobia. He was in and out of foster homes and therapy sessions for most of his life, and he did not adjust well. At one point, a therapist saw potential in him, and he was taken to a laboratory where he was given his strength abilities. He now uses those abilities to help deal with his mental problems, his main targets being men who abuse their families.
Other: Hasn’t told really anyone about what happened to his family because of trust issues.
(Alright, there’s my guy.)
Great! Shall we begin?
(Yeah, sure. Do you want to start or should I?)
(Can you?)
(Hello?)
(Are you still here?)
(Hello?)
(Are you online?)
(Sorry, I had gone out for a bit. I can start. Were we gong to start at the point of the prompt, or do you want to do some events leading up to that?)
(Start at the point of the prompt, I guess?)
(Also, I was thinking this was a Sci-Fi futuristic setting but correct me if I'm wrong, I don't wanna ruin the RP if I guessed wrong lol.)
(Okay and yeah lol)
“I forgive you,” Vaughn said, addressing his ‘companion’, Alana. They were in a dimly lit basement, a cell having been built off towards the corner of it. Above them was what the history books listed as a ‘gas station’ from earlier times. It was abandoned, of course, had been for a long time. But he had fixed it up a bit in the upstairs area, made it a bit more up to date.
But that shouldn’t be where his mind was. He should be concentrated on the situation with Alana. He wondered for a moment why he was forgiving her, something he found hard to do due to one of his mental illnesses. But he could make an exception for her, he supposed.
"You said that before." she laughed. "Round and round we go, the endless cycle. Would you like to learn about me? To know me as I truly am?" she asked cryptically. "What would you give to see inside my mind?"
“I think I know quite enough about you already,” Vaughn answered to her questions. “As interesting as that would be, I wouldn’t want to do anything like that.” He had grown decently close to Alana when they had first met and as their friendship developed. He hadn’t yet opened up to her about his murdered family and his mental issues though.
"You do realize that I'm going to kill you, do you not?" Alana asked. "Or is your mind too small to comprehend such an atrocity?"
“You aren’t going to do anything like that,” Vaughn retorted, his tone growing a bit sharper now. Could Alana do so, though, if given the chance? He surely hoped not, but maybe he was thinking like that because he had considered her a friend. Her needed to push that aside now, for his own safety.
"I would. I can think of one hundred ways to kill you now, and I can surely think of more." Alana said.
“Don’t be so bitter and dramatic,” Vaughn hissed, frowning slightly. He didn’t want to do this, but he had to. A small voice in his head argued with him, saying that he had to, no matter how much he hated this conflict. Take a break from the usual men you go after and concentrate on your old friend instead, the voice said to him. He ignored it, thinking that he needed to figure out his priorities.
