ugh blue, leave it to you to read yourself to sleep she laughed to herself, 'wanna meet up somewhere? Maybe the park?' She'd been at the park since before the sun rose. It was nice, but at the same time she felt out of place when she was alone.
Kate thought about both her parents. "Yeah." That's all she could say. She understood as much as one could.
‘Yeah, b right ther’ Blue texted back sloppily, then headed straight for the park. It wasn’t long before he saw Vash. He grinned then waved rather frantically to get her attention as he approached.
"Anyway I'm glad he has someone like you by his side. It's only been him and Xavier for so long." She stood and walked back into the living room. "I moved Serra to her room." Ty smiled, when he saw Kate.
(I'm going to the lake so I don't know how often I'll be on.)

Kate smiled back at Ty as she walked in. "Sorry that I kept him out last night." She thought back to the safety of the stars. If she had only stayed awake.

Vash saw Blue waving and laughed, "someone's gone crazy I see." She joked and stood to hug blue. "So how's the library been? Sleeping good there?"
“Yep,” Blue said despite the ache in his back and neck. He hugged Vash tightly, “I got to read tons of books. How did you sleep?” Blue asked, then pecked Vash on the cheek without thinking. It felt like something was fixed between them, compared to yesterday.
"I slept….well you can probably see how I slept" she had bags under her eyes from worring about blue last night and not to mention how tired she probably looked. Vash felt like things where right again, which made her happy. But at the same time she felt as if something was a bit off.
Blue hugged her again, “If you don’t get sleep tonight-“ I can’t do anything. And Blue hated that more than anything. Blue closed his eyes for a second and just held her. She’s safe, she’s okay, she’s fine. He had to remind himself that he couldn’t change a thing no matter how much he wanted to.
"You're squashing me" Vash joked leaning into the hug. She felt safe in his arms, like nothing could go wrong. And if it did, she'd have been angry at who ever messed it up.
Blue laughed, releasing her slowly, “How long have you been waiting here?” He asked, gesturing at the park around them.
Class started.

"Uhh…since before the sun" she laughed at herself. Sure it was a bit dangerous with the hole shady people and all, but she'd have ratherd been hear then at home.
“Geez, Vash, how much sleep did you even get?” And I wasn’t there to protect her. I couldn’t stop her. She’s exhausted and it’s my fault. “Next time you should come to the library.” Blue’s expression was calm, but inside his head was a mess. If was like a feral beast prowling, pure instinct to protect protect protect.

"Its fine." Rose said as she walked to Serra's room to check on her. "Did my grandma talk your ear off?" Ty reached out for Kate's hand. "Sorry about my family, they are just excited to meet you."
"Oh calm down its not like anything could have happened. And if anything did happen I'd have called you" Vash intagled her fingers with blue's. She enjoyed holding his hand.
"It's just fine. They're wonderful people." She smiled at him and plopped down on the couch next to him.
“But what if you couldn’t get to your phone?” Blue asked, almost in a whining manner. But his head kept concocting ways she could get hurt, ways it would be his fault. If only he hadn’t screwed up so badly that one night. Blue couldn’t stop the glance to his arm, the urge that came us like a wave. He clamped that feeling down. I can’t, I can’t, I can’t. Not here at least.
Ty easily picked Kate up and sat her on his lap then wrapped his arms around her waist. "Thank you for being here with me." He laid his forehead on her side and just held her there. He felt calm when she was around.

"So what wonderful adventure shall we embark apon today?" Vash wanted to change the subject. Not to lie but she did hope something had happened. She felt like a burden to everyone around her, espesaly to blue. If she could have disappeared chances where she'd have been okay with it. gosh stop thinking like that she shook her thoughts from her head and smiled, "wanna test out that death trap from the amusement park again?"
"I will be here anytime you want." She closed her eyes. She listened to his breathing, constant and full. For Xavier, she always needed something to fill the silence. With Ty, the silence was like standing in an art museum, admiring every detail without words.
"Tomorrow night my mom will be picking up Serra, and I was wondering if you will come? It always really hard when she comes to pick her up." He looked up at her since she's taller than him in this position. "You don't have to stay all day tomorrow, just around five-o-clock I'll need you." He didn't want her to think he was being clingy. Kate had her own life and he knew that.
"Of course. I'll be there as long as you want. It's not like I'm doing anything." She gave him a warm smile. She wanted to be there for him whenever he needed.
"Thank you." Ty kissed her shoulder since he couldn't reach her forehead. He wasn't sure when the right time was to actually kiss her, so he's been putting it off. "My sister will most likely want to play with you when she wakes up."
Kate laughed lightly. "I can't wait." Her smile began to droop when she thought of her. She's not her, she's Ty's sister. She pushed the feelings back and smiled.

“Gosh, not that Ferris wheel again,” Blue said with a laugh, “Maybe we should go for a hike or something. I heard there was a nice trail at the other side of the park. What do you think?” Blue looked across the park as if he could see the trail from so far away.
"Hmm…seems fun. I'm up to it if you are. What'd you think of racing up it?" Vash raised a challenging eye brow. It'd been awhile since she'd played such foolish games, but she had a feeling it'd be fun.
“Hmm I dunno, maybe-“ Blue took off like a rabbit mid-sentence, his laughed carrying through the wind as he shot through the park.
