Alex had continued stroking his cat while reading over his books. Everyone had suddenly become quiet and he didn't know what to do.

Livio finished his book and set it down " so what houses do you belive you will be put into?"

Joy wandered through the train, looking for a place to sit. She knocked a random compartment door, hoping it wasn't to crowded.

"Oh, I don't know! Everyone in my family was in Ravenclaw but I'm probably too stupid for it! I haven't even done research for the exams yet! I'll probably become a Hufflepuff. But at least they're nice, I've heard that Gryffindor is a rather rowdy bunch and Slytherin… well, I don't really want to be in their house, a lot of dark wizards come from it." she said. "What house do you want to get into?"

"Maybe Slytherin or Ravenclaw, since my parents were one of each."

"i would prefer the Sle-ther-in house, i suppose alot of dark wizards come from that house but they are cunning and ambitius and those are the traits i value the most" he says his accent making the words sound a bit funny

She sighed when no one answered, going to another. "Um, e-excuse me, but may I sit here?" She asked shyly

"Of course you can sit here, please come join us we are just discussing wich houses we beilive we are going to be sorted in" the Italian boy moved over so she could sit

She nodded, sitting down. "Hello, then, everybody." She said, giving a soft smile to the other ocupants.

"I am Livio, im from Popoli, Italy. who are you?" he asks

"Um, Joy, from somewhere in the middle of London." She said

"that is cool, nice to meet you Joy" he says quietly as he gets out his notebook

"And you." She said politely.

he starts to write in his notebook as the train continues on

She looked out the window.

Azelia ran on the train, out of breath. She looked around at the different compartments and started to walk, looking for one that didn't look too full. At the farthest compartment from the door she found a boy with dark hair and glasses that magnified his eyes. "Um, excuse me," she said opening the compartment door, "but would it be all right if I sat here? I'm looking for a quiet place to read."

"You've come to the right place then. Sit down." Mara grinned.

Scipio was sitting alone and reading as he usually did at home. Most other children stayed away from him, thinking he was a dark wizard for his ability to speak with snakes. He was cordial enough to those he trusted, and fiercely loyal as well, but unfortunately, he didn’t trust very many people. His snake, Ombra was coiled up on the seat beside him, and Phos was on his lap.

Jane continued looking out the window ignoring the other students around her. She did hear them talk about houses. She read up enough to know what each house was and how it all works, but she still had no idea what house she was going to be in.

She looked over at the other girl. "Hello."

Scipio glanced out the window with a vaguely bored expression. "We'll be arriving soon, Ombra." His voice came out as some form of hissing as he communicated with his snake in Parseltongue.

Jane looks at the girl. She wasn’t sure if she was talking to her but she answered anyway knowing that she’ll need to be polite and not get on anyone’s bad side. “Hi, I’m Jane,” she said giving a small smile.

She smiled back. "I'm Joy." She said softly. "Where are you from?"

Livio starts to mutter to himself in itailain "queste persone sono strane" he seems quite anxious as he starts to see the School

Alex kept quiet. His self-esteem had plummeted after Livio had said that he needed quiet. His usual bubbly persona had turned into the one he had when his brother (he was part of triplets) died from a freak accident.
