"So…do you need help moving your stuff in? Or no…?" Mavi looked out the door to see if there where any box's.
"So…do you need help moving your stuff in? Or no…?" Mavi looked out the door to see if there where any box's.
"Nope, the moving guy and I can do it. I just wanted to say hi before I started to move in!" Her voice was bright and chipper.
"Oh right of course." Mavi smiled at her new roommate, Put at easy by how chipper Amle was. "Oh um, your room is the one on the right."
Amel nodded. "Thank you so much for accepting me! We'll be great friends, I know it." She beamed at Mavi.
It scared her a bit at how happy Amle seemed, but at the same time made Mavi herself feel a bit happy too. "Mhm, no problem."
(Amel)
"Alright!" She turned on her heel to face the road and beckoned something out of sight. Turns out, it was a moving truck.
(Oof sorry)
Mavi hadn't even noticed the truck. "Oh, wow."
(Saaalright)
It backed into the driveway and Amel bounded over to it then pulled the truck's back open.
Mavi watched from the doorway, even she hadn't needed a moving truck. She wondered how much stuff Amel had brought with her. "Well uh, if you need any help just call for me." She sat back down on the couch and flipped the T.v. on.
Amel only took a couple of trips with her boxes. After those couple trips, she kicked off her shoes and shut the door.
"Done!" She exclaimed happily.
"That was rather fast." Mavi said, turning around looking to Amel. "So new in town?" She asked shyly.
"Yeah!" Amel answered the question first. "I just moved here."
"Oh. Um, where'd you move here from?" Mavi didn't like asking questions, but she did want to get to know her knew roommate.
"Just uh…" Her gaze moved away briefly in a moment of silence. She perked back up. "Nowhere important."
"Small town girl?" She asked. "Same here. Moved up here to be closer to my cousins" Mavi rambled on awkwardly.
Amel beamed and nodded. "That's great! I don't have much family up here, but I heard the town's nice."
"Oh yeah, it really is a nice town" she grinned happily. Amel seemed like a nice person.
Amel beamed wider somehow. "That's great! Well, thank you for welcoming me into your home!"
"Oh uh, no problem?" Amel seemed strange. Every one has their quirks, Mavi thought.
Amel glanced around. "So do you have any food?"
"Yeah." Mavi got up to show her the kitchen, "sorry I'm a bit over an over organizer so everything has its place" she awkwardly laughed to herself. "So uh, this is the kitchen." Mavi said stretching out her arms as if presenting something she was proud of.
Amel glanced around with a smile. "It's great!"
"And uh…yeah," she pointed to the fridge, "that's the fridge…I'm sorry you already knew that" she again awkwardly laughed at herself.
Amel waved a hand. "That's quite alright!"
"Ah, alright. Do you want a tour of the rest of the house?" She asked shyly.
"Of course!" Amel exclaimed before turning to Mavi.
"Oh right okay. So um like I said this is the kitchen. Over here we have our rooms, the laundry room, uh the living room…and bath rooms." She rubbed the back of her neck. The house wasn't that big but she didn't want Amel feeling like she was rude.
Amel nodded brightly. "This is all really great." She took the other's hand and shook it. "Thanks!"
Amel seemed really off, almost not human. "Well uh yeah, that's the house." Mavi smiled brightly.
Amel beamed back with her weird pointy teeth. "It seems so!"
