(Time-skip because… Well, because I can. Lol.)
Princess Lilah stood outside the door to the room where the princes were just finishing their lunch, her floor-length, midnight blue dress swishing around her ankles. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door and swept into the room.
"Your highnesses," she greeted them with a nod for the second time that afternoon. "If you would excuse Prince Cameron, I would like to see him."
(Back! Good morning!)
Cameron got up with some difficulty and bowed gently before crossing the room to join Princess Lilah.
"Your Highness," He said, with no actual respect, "you wanted to see me?"
Lilah nodded. "Yes, uh… Join me for a walk in the garden?" It was really more of a polite command than it was a suggestion, seeing as the prince before her didn't seem to have much respect for her.
"Sure." He put his hands in his pockets, hearing a faint hiss of disapproval from a prince behind him. He ignored it.
"Lead the way, princess."
Lilah stepped out of the room, looking over her shoulder quickly to make sure Cameron was following her. When she had made sure that he was, she headed to the gardens.
"So, Prince Cameron, what do you think of the castle so far?" she asked awkwardly. What else was she supposed to ask about?
Cameron glanced around. "It's certainly impressive, I suppose. Clean, like any other, royal, like any other as well." He glanced at Lilah. What does she want with me?
(Bumps I like this RP and I don't want to come across annoying… but are you there?)
(okay… inhale, hi. Are you awake?)
Lilah nodded slowly. They walked j silence for a moment, then reached a pair of large doors.
"Here we are," the princess stated, opening the doors.
(The garden: https://pin.it/4bhmaomcr7mtdi )
(Sorry, I was dragged to the gym!)
(Cool)
Cameron glanced around at the garden, feeling impressed. "This garden is certainly impressive." He smirked a little.
Must be terribly awful to try and get people to tend to it.
(I probably won't be on much. My wifi is out because we're getting electrical work done in our house, so they turned some of the electricity off. I'm borrowing my grandparents' internet. Lol.)
"I would thank you, but I only have a small section that my parents surprisingly let me work on. You'll have to give your compliments to the head gardener," Lilah said, almost jokingly.
(Awwww okay.)
Cameron glanced around with the slight smirk on his face. He could give that he was impressed, yet he also wanted to know how much it cost. He decided to push the thought away and chuckled.
"A small section, huh? You are a gardener?"
Lilah shrugged. "Not really. I just like my flowers. Oh, and strawberries. But that's all I have," she explained. "Would you like to see?"
Cameron glanced at her. "Yeah, sure. See if what you're saying is quite true, eh?" He smiled faintly.
"I suppose you will," Lilah laughed slightly, returning the smile. She led him down the path they were on, then turned right. "So, what do you like to do?"
Cameron walked in silence for a few moments before responding, "I…" He pulled a slight face. Whenever someone asked him of his hobbies, he usually totally forgot what… he liked to do for a hobby.
"I suppose I like fishing. By one of our lakes." He grinned a little as he imagined the lake.
"Oh, I bet the lake is lovely this time of year. Autumn is my favorite time of year," Lilah explained, looking around at the garden around her. She turned back to Cameron to ask, "What about you?"
Cameron hummed. "Spring. That's when the fish around where I live come out, and the flowers are in bloom. It's quite pretty and relaxing in the spring." Cameron looked at Lilah. "Autumn is nice too, though. My second favorite."
"Well, Spring just so happens to be my second favorite!" Lilah laughed. "Oh, there's my garden."
Cameron laughed gently too and when Lilah pointed out her garden he raised an eyebrow. Sure, not as glorious or large as the rest of the garden, but the gleaming red strawberries looked delicious.
"It looks great," Cameron murmured as they approached the plot.
Lilah smiled. "Thank you. Do you like strawberries? We could pick some if you do."
"As a matter of a fact I do like strawberries." Cameron couldn't help a small smile.
(Got to go.)
"Well, let's pick some, then," Lilah laughed.
(Okay, I'll be on till 7 EST. And on around that time tomorrow. ^~^)
"Let's." Cameron trotted forward to the little patch of garden and kneeled.
(Okay, cool.)
"Dresses with pockets are the best," Lilah declared, kneeling as well. She picked a few strawberries and gently placed then in her pockets.
(Welcome back!)
"They sound very convenient." Cameron picked a strawberry to his licking and popped it into his mouth before picking more and placing them into his pantpockets.
(Hey-hey! Lol. People left, wifi is back on! Woo-hoo!)
Lilah picked enough strawberries to fill both of her pockets, then decided she would just eat some if them. There were plenty of them, and more would grow back.
"What do you think? Do I do a good job with them?"
(woOohhHOO)
Cameron nodded and wiped his hands off on his pants. "They're great!" He straightened up off of the ground, careful not to drop any strawberries.
