John slowly lays back and covers them both with the blanket. John then closes his eyes and starts to fall asleep feeling content to be with nym and silently hoping that their conversation resolved some things

After about an hour Nym slowly wakes up and rubs her face, then scratches her head. She notices she's still in John's arms and smiles a bit and nuzzles into him, then sighs

As John sleeps he snores slightly then frowns in his sleep and mumbles incoherently as he does so he tightens his arms around nym

Nym giggled quietly and whispered "Sleepy baby." She extends her neck up and places a kiss below his jaw "It's okay, I'm here."

John shivered in his sleep when nym kissed under his jaw then he relaxed and slept more soundly his arm loosened around nym

(So sorry, I got caught up in work)
Nym smiles and thinks 'So handsome, I love you so much John.'

(Nah its fine )
John yawns in his sleep then wakes up slightly and places a kiss on nym forehead and murmurs sleepily "Nym…I love you" John yawns again and closes his eyes as he fell back asleep

Nym giggled at John and his groggy self. She wiggled her way out of his hold and moved to sit cross-legged on the floor by the bed. When on the floor she closed her eyes and took four deep breaths, after her breaths she slipped into a state of meditation almost. Nym wasn't she if she was going to cast a spell on someone or if she was just trying to control her own emotion. She sighed, then opened her eyes, got back on the bed, and stared at the ceiling

After an hour or more of sleeping Johns breathing started to get faster then he shot up and swung his legs over the side of the bed his eyes closed as he tried to control his breathing then he mutters softly "Urgh….Nightmares…."

Nym sat up quickly when John did "Hey baby, it's okay." Nym moves behind John and hesitantly wraps her arms around his shoulders "Wanna talk about it?"

John opens his eyes his breathing now under control and smiles glad to of had someone like nym to love and have love him back. He then turns his head to the side and murmurs softly "Thank you….maybe someday I will tell you love. Just give it time" John pauses then talks a minute more "It was about my ex-fiance and when I was captured and tortured. But I am glad those dreams have been happening less and less nym" John turns around in nyms embrace and faces her "You help me sleep better love"

"Oh, alright I understand." Nym blushes bright red "Oh, I-I'm glad to be of some service." She chuckles nervously

John smiles then leans in and rests his forehead against hers and laughs softly "Are you bored love? Or do you want to find something to pass the time?

Nym nods "Yes, please."

John ponders a moment then his eyes light up in excitement "Would you like to see my collection!? I have got a few new inventions from a few scientist over the past couple days"

Nym looks confused as she tilts her head to the side looking him in the eye

John laughs then pulls nym up into his lap and smiles at her "No? Is there something else you would like to do to pass the time?" John pulls a mischievous smirk and sneaks a kiss onto nyms neck

Nym chuckles as John kisses her neck "No, no, you can show me, I just didn't see you as one to collect."

John pulls away and laughs again while shaking his head "I have collected many sorts of odds and ends. It is also a large part of my job hahaha." John pulls way from nym and gets dressed. Once done he turns to nym and holds out his hand to nym "Come on, I am sure you'll like it"

Nym grabs his hand as she stands slowly

John twines his fingers with nyms and leads her downstairs to the basement “Hey nym, are you okay? You seem despondent” John frowns feeling like he had missed something and he thinks to himself “maybe you had said something wrong when you talked to her?” John turns around before he opens the basement door and looks down at nym “Nym…I want you to know that when we talked earlier I promise I will make this work.” John then turns back and opens the basement door flicking on the lights as he passed it and he leads nym down to a large and open basement. On each wall sat a set of shelves covered in a assortment of items. Under the one set of shelves stood several suits of armour and across the room were some tables that had ancient looking tools and books “Here we are! I must admit that it might be a bit of a mess….but I assure that each item is accounted for.”
John lets go of nyms hand and walks up towards a wall and gestures to some pirate memorabilia “These are my favorite….I might not have got to be a pirate when I was little. But I damn well made sure I was one later on in life. It was exhilarating being on the high seas!”

Nym chuckles as they walk to the basement and whispers to herself "Going to kill me now?" Nym looked at John "I'm fine, and I have faith you will make this work." Nym's eyes bugged out of her head as she gawked at the amount of memorabilia in the vast room "So cool, it's like a museum almost. I love museums!" Nym slowly started to walk around and inspect some things "You should take me to sea sometime." Nym looked up at John and smiled brilliantly

John smiles then leans in and gives nym a quick kiss and chuckles " I can certainly arrange that if you want to see the sea. It could out next date option if you want" John reaches out and grabs a small sword off the wall and brandishes it and turns to look at nym "So which item catches your eye? I have a story for each item, like the sword I have in my hand to that little pocket watch on the table" John puts the sword back and watches nym browse the items

Nym smiles into the kiss, walks over to some older looking books "What's their story?" Nym chuckles at her own idiotic joke

John walks up behind nym and looks at the dusted covers and laughs softly "Some of these are my old journals and alot of them are savior books. Books I smuggled across borders during wartime to save them and others are a assortment of things" John reaches up and pulls one book off of the shelf "This one is a peasants journal, I used to talk to him about all sorts of things. It was when I lived in France during the revolution. He had many great jokes and a funny way of looking at things"

"France?" Nym spoke almost breathlessly "You've done everything haven't you?" Nym ambles over to some of the armor "Is all this yours or did it once belong to someone else?" She said as she hesitantly brushes one of the breast plates with her hand and flinches clutching her hand

"No, I have been to alot of places but there are a few I have not been to" John puts the book back onto the shelf and turns to look at the armor "Yes those are mine , the only one that isn't is the one in the corner. That one belonged to a fallen comrade because of his dying words asking me to take care of it." John shook his head and grins "It was a round joke between the knights" John frowns seeing nym clutch her hand "You okay nym?"

"Yea yea. I'm okay." She holds her hand close to her chest and rubs her hand absentmindedly "Do you think I could handle the stories?"

"Of each item? I don't think you should touch a few of these items but most of them are quite harmless" John walks up to a suit of armor then removes the helmet and puts it on "I had almost forgot how horrible it was to wear armor.." Johns voice echos slightly in the helmet and he laughs "As I said , all you have to do is ask and I will tell you about it"

"Yea okay, but you didn't answer my question." Nym smiles
