Nym chuckles "Very." She watches John and smiles "Yea, I'm fine. Yes I do like wine."

John frowns at nyms tone and asks softly as he walks up to nym "You okay love?" John then reaches out and pulls nym into his arms "So what do you think of the sea so far?"

Nym smiles "I promise I'm fine, Hun. I love the sea, It's beautiful, I love being here with you, and I just like the serenity."

John nods then places a kiss on nyms forehead and smiles "Would it be cowardly to ask you to run away with me to the sea? To just forget the world and live underneath the stars in my boat?"

Nym chuckles "I wouldn't say cowardly, but what about Megan and my siblings? I mean I definitely wouldn't mind one bit, but they might."

John smiles then murmurs softly "Megan can live with snow, I trust her to keep an eye on my daughter. And your siblings….hmmmm I am not sure, but are some of them able to keep contact with you even though you might be at sea?" John trails off and shakes his head "How about we eat so I won't ramble off nonsense"

Nym smiles remembering her conversation with Megan this morning "I suppose yes, but I wouldn't want them popping in and out of my head if I'm spending my time with you love. Food sounds good, what's on tonight's menu?"

John nods in understanding then on the topic of food he smiles and gets up "Oh, its my famous tortellini soup! Hang on let me go get the stuff" John turns and races across the boat and down to the cabin he then returns with a blanket full of silverware and the pot of food he made "Can you help love?"

"What would you like me to do?" Nym stood slowly being careful not to fall and cautiously made her way to John with her arms out spread.

John smiled at he observed nym then holds out the bunched up blanket towards her "Just grab one end of the blanket and pull it out then set it down on the deck with me"

Her knees wobble a bit "Okay." Nym grabs one end of the blanket and slowly squats to set it down on the deck

John kneels down with her and spreads out the other end then gestures to the silverware "You can grab you bowl and things now. I will be back in a minute love." John then sets down the pot and goes back to the under cabin to retrieve a few items

"Hurry back sweetheart." Nym sits on her knees and reaches over to grab herself a bowl and silverware, but waits for John to return

John then jumps the first step and accidentally falls and laughs as when he drops a candle "Haha….sorry, it seems I am clumsy today as well my love"

Nym stifles a giggle "It would seem so." Nym clears her throat as she watches John

"I know I might be stalling or making things slow…but I promise that I have something special in mind" John grins then sets up the candles and fills up both their glasses with win. After giving nym her glass he reaches into his pocket and sets a small box between them "You can go ahead and eat. You don't have to wait for me to get done love."

"It's okay, I don't mind waiting." Nym looked at the small box puzzled as she took the glass in hand "I was raised traditionally, 'you eat wen everyone else is ready.' I won't die of starvation Hun. That and I don't want to be the only one eating."

John nods as he grabbed his bowl and spoons some of the soup into his bowl "You can pick up the little box now…" John releases a breath feeling nervous about what he was going to ask of her

Nym's breathing hitches, with shaky hands she reaches out to grab the small box "John, what is this?" She slowly opens the box

John smiles then leans in closer to nym and points to the ring in the box "It's a promise ring love. I want to promise that my love it only for you. And that I will always try to be there for you…" John smiles slightly and looks over to nym

Nym looks at the ring with heightened senses, drowning out everything else. She speaks, but she can not even hear her words "It's beautiful John, I accept it. See, if I had know I would have got something too." She smiles widely as she continues to look at the ring slowly allowing her other senses to come to.

John leans in and gives nym a soft kiss and murmurs softly "You didn't need to bring anything but yourself. You are all I really need love." John then grabs the ring and gently puts it on one of nyms fingers "I love you more then anything nym"

Nym kisses John back and smiles "I love you to John."

John smiles slightly then looks off to the sea and sighs knowing he had not said all that he wanted. "Nym….I have come to a very important decision. And I want you to know that it has nothing to do with you and you had done nothing wrong my love. But I have decided to return to my home land for a short period of time to help with the war."

Nym's face grew solemn "Oh, a-alright." Nym looked down as she got herself some soup finally, maybe that would help her pull her thoughts together. She brought a spoon full of soup to lips and ate. She remained quite listening to the tide

John rubs the back of his neck and looks over at nym and sighs "I won't be leaving soon, I have three weeks until I have to go." John finally ate some of his food but found that he was not really hungry at the moment

"Mmmmm, alright. Um, can I make a request then?" Nym watches the waves roll fearing that if she were to look at John she might break

John nods returning his gaze back over towards the sea "Yes, anything you want love" John swallows hard feeling more nervous then before

"Keep me with you till you leave, excluding work of course. I don't want to prolong any extra time apart." Nym's voice broke and a tear fell, she quickly wiped it away and began eating her soup again.
