Nellie excused herself and walked over to Kasumi. "Hi there. I'm Nellie. I liked your singing!" She said in her soft brooklyn accent.

Kasumi smiled at Nellie, "Thanks, doll!" she said. "I'm glad you liked it!"

"No problem," Bea answered. "You come here often?"

"Yes, I work here on weekends, Tuesdays, and Thursdays," Kasumi replied. "How about you? Ever been to OZ before?"

"Oh, yeah. I'm here all the time. I think they're gettin tired of me" Bea smiled.

Kasumi laughed. "As long as you give the witches your money, I doubt they'll ever grow tired of you."

"Yeah, those gals really don't care." Nellie agreed.
(Sorry I called myself Bea. I'm doing a lot of rp's right now.)

Kasumi took a sip of her drink. "They can be really fun, but, stars, they love their gold."

(I like your use of the word stars. Do you know Lunar Chronicles, or just made it up?)

"I dunno. Witches aren't really my thing." Nellie said thoughtfully.

"I dated one once, but it didn't work out. She liked her cat more than me," Kasumi said with a laugh. "Spoiled him rotten with golden cat toys and collars. It was ridiculous, really."

"I gotta say, witch's cats really get on my nerves." Nellie agreed.

"It always feels like they're watching you," Kasumi said with a shudder.

"Yeah, and they're loud." Nellie agreed thoughtfully. "It's Kasumi, right? Odd sortofa name, huh?"

Kasumi laughed and tilted her head. "Yes, I suppose," she replied

"You from around here?" Nellie asked curiously. She turned and ordered a gigglewater.

"No, I'm from the Japanese Sea," Kasumi replied. "We moved here when I was very young."

"I thought that might be." She giggled. "I've been here all my life."

"It is very nice here, but I miss the cherry blossom trees," Kasumi said wistfully. "They're what I was named after."
