"Thanks." Brenna pawed her hair out of her face and smiled a little.
"Thanks." Brenna pawed her hair out of her face and smiled a little.
"So, tell me about yourself," Kendall said, then added. "If you want to."
Brenna shrugged. "There's not much to tell, to be honest. The only special thing is that I was diagnosed with giganticism when I was thirteen. And at twenty I had to start ducking below doorframes."
"I still could have lost you in the club, you know," Kendall said with a chuckle. "I'm a tad short, even compared to the average female. I might not have been able to see past all the other club goers."
Brenna chuckled. "Then just ride around on my shoulders. You'll be bigger than anyone there."
Kendall let out a snort, then covered her mouth, cheeks slightly red. She hated it when she snorted.
"Wouldn't that be a sight to see, we would certainly stand out."
Brenna chuckled at her snort yet decided not to mention it. "Yeah, it certainly would be."
Kendall took another sip of her drink. "So, what do you do? Like, what's your job?" she asked.
Brenna took a gulp. "I run a gym, yet I don't exercise myself. Well, I do sometimes." She shrugged. "What do you do?"
"Well, I work at OZ as a performer in the evenings, and I work at a store at the mall on most weekday afternoons," Kendall replied.
Brenna leaned back into the booth. "Hm, interesting. Not a morning person, huh?"
Kendall shrugged. "I have a difficult time sleeping, so when I manage to sleep, I sleep as long as I can."
Brenna nodded. "Makes sense." She finished her drink after a couple more gulps.
Kendall finished her drink off as they talked for a while. Sitting back, she looked across at Brenna. "So, what would you like to do now?" she asked, tilting her head.
Brenna looked around. "Probably go back for my friend and go home."
"Okay," Kendall responded, slightly disappointed. "Let's head back then, shall we?"
Brenna glanced at her. "What, did you wanna do more with me or something?"
"Hmmm? Oh, no," Kendall replied with a shrug. "It's getting relatively late anyway, and your friend probably needs some water and a good night's sleep."
"You can come with if you'd like. We two night owls can hang out some more." She gave Kendall a roguish smile that fit her face very well.
Kendall returned her grin. "I'd be happy to," she replied with a slight smirk. "Let's head out and hope your friend is still at the club."
"Yeah, if not, she'll come back up eventually. She's always going out with different guys." She rose out of the booth carefully, making sure her legs didn't bump into the table as she went.
(As a note, Brenna is 7'1)
(dang. Kendall is 5'8")
"I've known girls like that," Kendall said, also getting out of the booth. "If she's not, what do you want to do?"
(I made up a height off of the tallest woman in the world/ever, who was 7'7, so I hope Brenna isn't too cringily tall.)
Brenna shook her head. "Nothing, that's what."
(Nah, she's good)
Kendall raised an eyebrow. "Wow, cold," she said as they walked out. "Though understandable. She doesn't seem like that great of a friend."
Brenna sighed. "Trust me, she's not. And I know it's cold. I hate her guts."
(Thanks!)
"Dang, girl, why do you hate her so much?" Kendall asked as they got to her motorcycle.
Brenna got on after Kendall. "Dunno. I've known her since high school and constantly went behind my back." She wrapped her arms around Kendall's waist and leaned forward.
"That sucks, hun," Kendall said, revving up her motorcycle. "Why do you stay friends with her?"
"She's filthy rich. So if she wants to go out to get something to eat she usually brings me."
"Huh, guess that works," Kendall replied. "Anyway, hold on, here we go!" She took off down the empty streets, headed back to OZ.
