(hi guys!)
(hi guys!)
(ready to go?)
(yup!)
(i think so)
"Fine, let's go." Mitchell stepped on the gas, and the motorbike took off.
Charlie squinted her eyes against the wind buffering her face and her fur/hair.
"So…how long till we get there do you think?"
Gwen laughed as they rode across the desert. "Wooohooooo!" She shouted excitedly, but she didn't dare let go.
"A few minutes, at the speed this is going!" He shouted. "And we're not even going as fast as it can go!" Just then, alarms and sirens filled the air. The Garrison.
"Hey smart one, I thought the alarms were disabled!" Mike shouted against the wind
Charlie chuckled at Mike's comment but still flicked her ears in concern at the loud sirens.
"Yeah, the door alarm was disabled, but they must've noticed that we left!"
Gwen groaned. "Keep going Mitchell! We can't stop now!" She turned back to the direction of the Garrison, giving the whole building the finger. "SUCK IT!"
"I told you we should have gone through the attic! Don't listen to the psychic, that was a wonderful idea. We're all going to prison or something now!"
Mitchell started laughing hysterically, leaning over Charlie's shoulder a bit and stepping on the gas to go top speed. "Hold on tight!"
Charlie burst out, violently laughing and had to curl backwards to avoid tumbling over the front of the vehicle in her hysteria.
"YES!" Gwen exclaimed. "LET'S GO FIND OURSELVES A LION!"
"We're all going to DIE and I've been awake for 20 MINUTES!"
"Oh, shut up." Mitchell turned a corner swiftly around the edge of a desert cave. It wasn't the same one as the blue lion was found, but they had to stop somewhere. He brought the bike around to the entrance and pressed a button to silence the motor so that the Garrison wouldn't find them.
Gwen observed the cave. "This seems right. C'mon, let's go get a lion!" She marched in the cave.
Mike ran a hand through his bangs, trying to fix them from the wind. "Ok, running from the Garrison. Wonderful way to wake up. Let's find the stupid lion and get this done with."
Mitchell brought the bike down a little further, until it got dark and he couldn't see. He switched off the bike.
Charlie quickly skipped and trotted after the others and slightly bounced in excitement. Getting carried away she ran into the cave at top speed and started twirling in circles until she fell down in dizziness.
Mitchell chuckled at Charlie's clumsiness, then took out a dim flashlight to light the cave. "Anybody feel any 'blue lion vibes'?"
Gwen took out a flashlight from her bag like Mitchell had done. She lit up the path in front of them. "Alright physic, lead the way."
"Yeah, ok, gotcha." Mike snapped his fingers, and a diamond with a yellow eye in its center floated just in front of his forehead. "Kay, forward ho I guess..!"
Charlie rolled over before she was able to get to her feet without falling and reached out to grab onto something to help her up.
Gwen kept making her way further into the cave. "Anyone feel anything yet? When the last paladins found the lion it was towards the front of the cave."
"Uh, I think they hid it deeper than before or something. I'm getting something, but it's super dim."
"Yeah, but this isn't the same cave. And I don't think they'd be dumb enough to put in the exact same, or even similar place as it was found."
