The pull began to grow stronger, and literally pushed Charlie forward towards the sound of an echoing waterfall."This. Way." Charlie pushed out before she was dragged forward and deeper into the cave.

"Not wrong." They started to come up on a fork in the tunnels. But the lion's signal seemed to be coming from above them. "Hey guys, this is gonna sound really weird, but I think we have to go up somehow."

Gwen looked around with a shocked expression. "Up? You're kidding."

"Yeah, like, hear that waterfall? Pretty sure we go up that."

"This way this way" Charlie called as she raced after the feeling as it fled up a tunnel 'slide'. She dug her claws into the dirt and rocks to get a better grip as she scaled up the slanted wall.

"How are we supposed to get up there? We don't have claws."

Mitchell raised his eyebrows, impressed. "Guess I'll wait here then."

"Okey dokey claws. Who wants a ride on the human-ish teleporter?"

Mitchell scowled. "I'll pass."

Charlie's laughter echoed down the corridor as she neared the waterfall and the… energy source.

"Suit yourself. Gwen?"

Gwen sighed. "Don't take this the wrong way. I'll come, but just because I really want to see the lion."

"Ok, same here." He hopped up, and a large diamond appeared beneath his feet. He held out his hand to Gwen

She took his hand reluctantly and sighed again. "Alright. Do your creepy magic."

"Aww, it's not creepy. I think it's cool!" The two seemed to glitch, and then they were at the top of the waterfall with Charlie

Charlie quickly looked around the platform before stopping in admiration. A giant blue lion was just… sitting there, covered in a barrier of blue hexagons. She wandered forward to gently place her dirt-clodded clawed hands on the barrier before it spread back and the wonderful blue lion seemed to "activate". It stood up and let out a massive roar before leaning down and scooping Charlie up in one giant bite.

Gwen looked up at the lion who had just taken Charlie. "Woah! There it is! It's here! THE BLUE LION!"

"HEY!! YOU CAN'T EAT HER, SHE'S COOL!!" Mike barreled towards the lion, trying to form more floating diamonds to try to open the lion's mouth. They kept fizzling out though, but he kept yelling

Gwen ran up to Mike, holding him back. "Chill out. This is what's supposed to happen."

"I don't remember EATING THE PALADINS being part of the deal!" he yelled one last time before stopping

Mitchell heard screeching from above and he jumped up. "DID YOU FIND THE BLUE LIOOON?"

Gwen sighed. "She wasn't eaten, she's inside the lion. Probably figuring out how to control it."

Mike moved Gwen's arms off him carefully before running to the cliff edge. "The blue lion ate Charlie and we're just kinda waiting for it to do its thing!" he yelled down

Charlie tumbled around inside the lion's head until she managed to be sitting upright in the pilot seat. Charlie reached her hand forward and grabbed onto the steering levers and let out a nervous sign before pushing forward. The lion launched forwards at Gwen and Mike, scooping them up into the cockpit as well. It pushed down the narrow slide as the earth and water crumbled away as it headed straight for Mitchell.

"WHAT THE HELL?" he screeched, diving out of the way and rolling under a rock. "Do not let it eat me you guys!"

Gwen grinned. "I JUST GOT EATEN BY THE BLUE LION! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!" She made her way to where Charlie was and held on to the back of the seat.

"MOTHER OF A BAD BAG OF DONUTS, I TOLD YOU IT"S EATING US-oh hi Charlie-CALM DOWN YOUR OVERSIZED CAT!"

"I'm trying" Charlie pulled on the levers, swinging Blue around and standing in the middle of the cavern, facing where Mitchell dove. "Where's the–" Charlie was bumped forward and pressed a panel of buttons. One was apparently a megaphone as the lion project Charlie's voice outwards "SPEAKER HEY MITCHELL THE LION KINDA WANTS TO TAKE YOU ALONG WITH US SO KINDA JUST LET IT EAT YOU REAL QUICK OKAY GGREEEAAATTT!!!" Charlie hurried before the lion tried leaping out at Mitchell again.
