“At least the ones that are gay or bi…” Marcos sighed as made himself see reality. Justin does not like me. He tucked his knees close to him and wore a small frown.
“At least the ones that are gay or bi…” Marcos sighed as made himself see reality. Justin does not like me. He tucked his knees close to him and wore a small frown.
“I bet there are some straight guys that like you that they wish they weren’t straight.”
“Wouldn’t they not be straight then?” Marcos joked, but he didn’t even smile. He just felt so defeated.
“Well what if they have no choice but to be straight?”
“What do you mean?” Marcos studied Justin’s face with a confused look, “Just because they’re in the closet doesn’t mean that they’re straight.”
“I know, but I’m talking about how the world views them, not how they view themselves.”
Marcos tilted his head the other way and huffed in frustration. He was completely unaware that Justin could be hinting at himself. He chewed on his lip and complained, “Why can’t we all just be gay or bi? It would make my life so much easier.”
“If everyone was gay we’d have a hard time making offspring.” Justin stood up and went to go change into some comfy clothes.
“Yeah…” Marcos sighed fell back onto his bed and stretched out. He was hopeless. Absolutely darn hopeless, all because he falls in love too easily.
“So do you know when we should have our dinner dates?”
“You can decide,” Marcos waved his hand dejectedly. The kitten jumped onto his bed and walked on his chest, which was a little comforting but still didn’t fix heartbreak. He pet the kitten, and it started purring.
“How about tomorrow night then? You can ask your crush and I can ask mine.” Just then the doorbell rang. “Ah, that must be the cat stuff.”
“Okay,” So tomorrow he would confess, tell Justin he loved him. Or just lie, tell him he didn’t actually like anyone. Probably the latter. Marcos looked at the kitten sitting on his chest, “Can’t you just fix all my problems?”
Justin went to the door to get the cat stuff and came back in.
Despite himself, Marcos said, “I had fun tonight.” He just needed to mentally prepare himself for tomorrow. Maybe he could go fight Hanns before the dinner to get his mind off it too.
“Me too. We should do it again sometime.” Justin laughed it sounded like they were just on a date.
“Yeah,” Marcos said sulkily, then looked at the time. It was nine o’clock, a good enough excuse, “I think I’ll head to bed early.”
“Ok, I’ll set up the litter box then.” Justin smiled.
Marcos sat up for a second and do the polite thing and ask, “Do you need any help?”
“No I’m fine, you can go to sleep.” Justin waves his hand telling him to lay down.
“Okay,” Marcos said before laying under the covers and falling asleep with thoughts of how he would deal with tomorrow…
(Timeskip?)
(Sure)
Justin set up the litter box, put out some food and water and went to sleep.
Marcos woke up feeling nasty. Today was the day he’d need to figure out something about his crush on Justin. Maybe he’d just go get beaten up by Hanns… Yeah, that sounded nice, just to give himself some kind of reprieve. He got out of bed, realizing he fell asleep in yesterday’s clothing. He frowned and put on something comfortable, “I’m heading out.”
Justin was laying in bed, not even fully awake yet. “Goodbye.” He mumbled as he rolled over and pulled the blanket over his head.
Marcos started his walk across the city until he found the alley he had left his suit in. It had been a risk to leave it over night, but thankfully is was still here and undisturbed. He went into the corner of the alley and slipped his suit on over his clothing, finishing it off with his black mask. Now all he needed to do was get Hanns attention…
Five minutes later, Polaris found himself in the middle of the street, stopping traffic. Someone honked a horn, while another stuck his head out of his window, “Get outta the street you dingbat!”
Marcos rolled his eyes and called back, “How about you!” With the flick of his hand and some concentration, the car was flung out of the road into a tech store. The screams started just as Marcos unleashed himself. Just gotta get the tension out, just gotta exhaust myself before the dinner…
Justin awoke to the sound of beeping telling him Polaris was at it again. He dragged himself out of bed putting on his suit, running out the door to go find Polaris. He ran until he spotted Polaris in the middle of the street causing a ruckus.
Marcos spotted Hanns and grinned. Finally, someone to fight. Polaris threw a lamppost, after pulling it out of the ground with some struggle, at Hanns with his mind.
Hann saw the light post coming for him so he ran out of the way.
“What’s wrong Hanns? Afraid to get close and actually punch me?” Marcos taunted. He wanted to come home with bruises and aches, regardless of the question that would be accompanied by them. He’s figure out some excuse.
“Maybe you could just stop before someone gets hurt.” Hann tried still half asleep.
