Erik woke to the sound of the alarm. He groaned and rolled over, shutting off the alarm.

Denzel groggily forced his eyes open. "Mornin' already?"

Erik nodded and quite literally rolled out of bed. He landed on the floor in a heap.

"Hun? You okay?" He asked, sitting up.

"Fine." He grumbled and started to crawl to the bathroom.

He got up, getting dressed in his work clothes.

He got up and turned on the shower and jumped in.

He went downstairs to take care of breakfast, humming to himself.

Erik came downstairs half dressed. He walked up behind him. "What's for breakfast love?"

"Pancakes." He said, flipping one.
