"Wow… I uhh… I guess?" Cece said unconvincingly. She had absolutely no idea how she was going to fool this girl.
"Wow… I uhh… I guess?" Cece said unconvincingly. She had absolutely no idea how she was going to fool this girl.
“So, what’s first?” Skylar plopped into a chair across from her guest and gestures to the items on the table.
“Well, first…” Cece looked at the random assortment of tools. She scrunched her face in thought. “First I tell you that I have no idea how to do this.” She said after a while.
Luca waved goodbye to the wolf girl. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking along the sidewalk.
Skylar cocked her head, a few hesitations from the girl had clued her in, but Skylar had just thought she was nervous, "Then how did you get that radio to work?"
Cece feels herself begin to sweat and the energy started to build up inside of her. What was this, an interrogation? She put her hand on the radio in front of her, and it immediately sprung to life. The built up energy left her fingers and surged through the radio. It turned on to Lauren Aquilina's 'Sinners' and the chorus blasted through it. She calmly turned it down.
Ashira waved goodbye back at Luca, and let him out of her apartment.
Skylar watched as Cece turned on the radio just by touching it, "Oh, you have powers too?" Skylar asked. She chuckled to herself, this was normal by now.
Luca didn't really know where he was going. He knew he had to find other people with powers, but he didn't know where to start. Was there a union or something that he had to join?
Cece was confused by the fact that the girl seemed so calm about her powers. Usually people freak out. "Wait… too?"
"Yeah, first the shapeshifter, then the water boy, and now you!" Skylar laughed, "It's normal now! I thought I was the only one and I find three others!" Skylar clasped her hands over her mouth as she realized what she had said.
"You- you're kidding" Cece stuttered, suddenly extremely suspicious of the girl, "You're lying. Prove it. Prove to me there's others."
"Uh…" Skylar hesitated, not sure if she wanted to show someone. Ultimately, she decided to show Cece, "Ok, just don't tell anyone. Please," Skylar begged. She then opened her hand and lit a fire in the palm of her hand.
Skylar hesitated as Cece stayed quiet. Skylar put her hand into a fist after she was sure Cece had seen it, "Do you believe me now?" Skylar asked.
Cece was speechless. She wasn't alone, finally. "You said others. Show me everyone else."
Skylar shook her head, "I don't know where one of them is, but I can bring you to the boy, Luca," Skylar offered.
"Luca? I… I know him." Cece states, a little shaken. "He has powers?" her eyes widened as she remembered the water he had thrown from his house. They weren't water balloons…
"Yeah, he talked about you, do you want to find him with me?" Skylar asked, "I just left his apartment, so he's either going to be there or somewhere near it."
Luca patiently waited for the light to turn red. He checked his watch, slowly becoming more impatient.
Skylar didn't wait for an answer and dragged Cece outside. Skylar opened the door to see Luca impatiently waiting at a stoplight. Still dragging Cece behind her, she ran across the street even though the light was red. Cars honked at her but she ran to Luca, who was one more stoplight away. Cars honked even more as she ran right through the street.
Ashira turned on her television, looking for something good to watch. She shut her blinds but kept the lights on and laid in her bed, watching television.
Luca spotted Skylar running across the street, dragging that other weird girl behind him. His crossing sign turned green, but he waited for them to get to him instead.
Skylar tripped over the curb and bent over, breathing heavily, "We… need… to… talk," Skylar huffed between breaths.
He chuckled a little. "Alright. What about?" Luca told her, even though he knew why she was here.
“Not… here…” Skylar managed, “I should… work out more,” she said to herself. Skylar paused to catch her breath and said, “Follow me to my house.”
"That's not creepy at all…." Luca said, but he followed her anyway.
Skylar realized how that would sound creepy, but dragged Luca along with Cece. When she got to her house she sat them down and asked the most important question, "Does anyone want something to eat or drink?"
He grinned. "You read my mind." Luca decided that it might be best to open up to Skylar and be friendly. Out of the three girls like him, her's was the only name he could remember.
(There are three of us, Skylar, Cece, and Luca. Is there a ghost!? ;P)
