"Where did they get you Sobex?" Sia asked.

Gij looked down at Sobex and patted his shoulder. Sobex responded by hopping up onto Gij's head.
"They didn't get him," Gij said grimly, "I made sure of that."

Sia nodded. "Good. We should get going."

Gij nodded and took his weight off of her. "How should we get there?"

"I'm not sure honestly." Sia said. "Depends on where we're going."

"How about your cousin's?"

"We could do that. Depends on if she takes us in though." Sia helped him stand up. "Feel okay?"

Gij groaned again. "I suppose. How far away is she?"

Sia glanced to the ceiling, thinking. "A week or so on foot." She muttered.

Gij groaned. "Oh god, that sounds like agony."

(I totally understand :)
"Yeah. I don't have a car." Sia muttered. She double checked what she had packed and packed a few more things.

Gij shut his eyes with a sigh. "Maybe we should get a plane… or something."

"I'm not sure I've got the money for that, and we might get spotted. I should probably call (Insert her name because I can't seem to find what I named her) and see if it's alright that we come over."

"Alright. Can I sit down?" Gij looked at Sia.

"Yeah." She walked over to a closet and fished out a taser before walking over to grab her phone. She dialed a number.

Gij laid down and Sobex hopped down onto his chest.

(I'm just going to go and give her cousin a different name since I can't seem to find what her name :P)
"Hi Grace! How ya doing?… I'm doing alright, thanks. Say, Is it okay if I crash at your place? It's a long story… What? Really? You'll come pick us up?! But what Iris's… oh, it got canceled? Alright. If you're sure. See ya in a few hours. I'll call if anything comes up." Sia hung up.

Gij shut his eyes and wrapped his arms around Sobex.

"So, some good news. Grace is coming to pick us up. Hope you like kids since she has to bring her kids along too." Sia sat down next to him.

Gij groaned gently. "Alright… What about Sobex?"

"Oh shoot. Right." She picked up her phone and redialed. "Hey, me again. We happen to have a dragon too. Yup. Yeah. I'm not pulling your leg Gracie. It's a baby. The size of a puppy. Basically a puppy too. I don't know, I'd have to ask. Okay. Thanks, I owe ya one. Bye."

Sobex yapped softly, and Gij murmured back in a hushed tone of dragon.
"So, what did she say?" He asked afterward.

"She was wondering if he could fit in a puppy crate and whether or not he'd do so. She's afraid he might scare her kids, or they might agitate Sobex."

"Yeah, he would, but I don't think he would like it much."

"Okay good. Both of Grace's kids explore by touching. A lot. She has a puppy crate we can use."

Gij stroked Sobex's head. "Where will you and I sleep? In separate rooms? If not, Sobex can stay in there."

"Grace has a spare room. It's got a bed with a trundle bed underneath."
