Name: Xavier Burne (Is it okay if the have the same last name. Because I was thinking the King could be brothers with Xavier's dad.)

Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: He has Heterochromia, so one blue eye on brown eye, Dirty blonde hair that's a bit messy, but in the good way. 6'4, Muscular, but not in the gross way.
Personality: Brotherly, protective over his cousin, likes to make people laugh, a bit goofy, knows when it's time to get serious though, is more of the leader type.
Backstory: Grow up in the castle alongside his cousin. Went through most of the things she did. (Sorry, I'm extremely bad at back storys.)
Flaws: Can be a bit stubborn, gets lost easily, can be a bit loud at times.
Fun fact about them: He likes sweets, so if you bring him some he will be your bestfriend.
Role: Cousin
Weapon: Normal sword, I guess.
Other: Loves to dance and dress fancy, so balls are his favorite thing and loves to entertain people.

Victoria was woken up by a maid. "Miss, the messenger has come, with the black armband." the maid told her. Victoria looked at the maid, surprised. "But surely this cannot be true? Papa was away on a simple business trip, nothing more." she said, gaping in disbelief as tears stung her eyes. Victoria knew what this meant. Her father was dead. But she knew what her father's death meant as well. She was to be queen. It is said that the speed of light is that fastest speed there is, but that isn't true. The darkness always gets there first, and is waiting for it. "Who else has been alerted?" Victoria asked. "You went the last to know, my lady." the maid said. "But surely I, as the heir to the throne, should have been told first?" she asked. "Well, there is much to prepare, you need to choose an advisor and your personal attendant and need to arrange the coronation ball and the coronation and all that, among other things, and the castle has been preparing." the maid told her. Victoria sat up and pulled on her dressing gown. "Well, I shall be wanting to make a start, I suppose." Victoria said, walking out into the great hall, where many others were already gathered and waiting.

(Crap start, I know, but bear with me.)

Xavier was in a panic, running down hall after hall. No matter how long he's lived here, he still gets lost. Tori might be crying for all he knew and he needed to be by her side. "Excuse me." He tapped the shoulder of and older man that held a tray in his hand. Butler, seems to fit. "Where may I find the queen's room?" His eyes widened. Another one of those looks. Xavier got that look a lot. A man asking where the room of the queen is, how disgusting. He mocked everyone in his head. "Xavier Burne." The Butlers face turned to a smile immediately after the name was said. "Down the hall to your left. It should be straight down from there." Xavier gave him a polite bow, before jetting off again. It was rude to knock on the queen's door, unless you are a servant of hers. That's what he was told at least. It shouldn't take to long for her to leave her room, and when she did he would be right there with arms open.

Victoria exited the room to bump into none other than Xavier. "I'm sorry, this is very unladylike of me. I'm hardly in a presentable state." she croaked, her eyes red and swollen from crying and her hair unkempt.

Andion hurried round the garrison, giving his men orders for where to be and what to do. The king was dead, meaning her highness was going to be taking the role as queen. She was only young, Andion knew that which meant he was going to station extra guards around the palace to keep her from harm.

That didn't matter at all to him. He's seen her when she was a crying snot nosed kid, this was a step up. "Tori." He said softly. He couldn't make up for her dad, now that the King was gone Xavier would do everything in his power to protect her. He bowed, before pulling her into a hug. Gently he patted her head, as he did when they were kids. "I'm here." He didn't know if this would help at all, he would do anything to make her feel safe and smile.

"I'm…. it's just…. don't take this the wrong way, but you look like hell." Victoria gave a small giggle, despite the tears streaming down her face.

Elliot ran to Victoria’s room “Vic!” He said seeing her

"H-hey Elliot." she said quietly.

Andion sighed and waved away a few guards that came to talk to him. He didn’t want to bother Victoria but knew he would have to see her eventually.
