Evanna rolled her eyes. "Oh, for hell. You never do listen to a word I say. I suppose, if the gentleman is up to it..?" she played with her axe a bit, switching it from hand to hand.

@Fraust

"Well, Evanna and I just came from the horse race. Races occur every week, and they're quite fun. There's fishing, polo, and there's miles of gorgeous countryside. I often like to ride along it upon one of my horses. I find it very serene; clears one's mind very well."

Edwin’s attention finally caught onto the girl’s ax. Why did she have an ax? He felt his pulse start to rise. His father told him that there might be an attempt on his life whilst he was away from the palace, but here? Now? He hand tightened on the hidden dagger at his waist, but he tried to hide it. He guessed it looked more like a hand at his hip, at least that’s what he hoped… Edwin opened his mouth, “Why do you carry an ax?”

@Crisis

Evanna scowled. "Never know what might happen. I have a duty to my…friend," she gestured to Savannah, "and it's always good to have an out. Of course, not that I need it, I could do well enough without it."

@Fraust

"Don't mind her, she's very cautious about that kind of thing. She just wants to protect me, really. Honestly, she's very nice once you get past the gruff exterior." Savannah hit Evanna's arm playfully. "Don't worry; she won't be trying to kill you with it if that's what you're worried about."

“I learned to sword fight as a child,” Edwin remarked, trying to make a persona of confidence and strength rather than wariness and caution, “I fence too.”

@Fraust

"Really? Me too! You never know when you'll need to know that kind of thing. We have a lot in common!" Savannah smiled, trying to offset Evanna's attempt to intimidate Edwin.

@Crisis

Evanna smiled. "I do hand to hand. Fencing never really was my cup of tea, I'm decent at sword fighting though. I'm more handy with an axe, really, but I'm also skilled in knife throwing." she shifted her jacket a bit, exposing a long dagger in the folds of her tunic.

@Fraust

(Savannah: OH MY GOD EVANNA STOP TELLING HIM YOU'RE LOADED WITH WEAPONS YOU'RE GONNA SCARE HIM OFF
Evanna: Well, yes, that was the goal)

Edwin paled. She was starting by threatening him. His eyes darted around. He just needed to stay in a heavily populated area. Unless she was going to hold him hostage… His foot started tapping rapidly. He could get out of this. He’d trained for this. Edwin slowly took a step backwards and tried to ask casually, “Could we take a tour of the docks?” If his men saw him…

@Fraust

"Of course! Evanna, please put the weapons down." Savannah sighed. "For heaven's sake, you're going to make him think you're some psychopath who kills on sight." She led Edwin over to the docks, where some men were fishing. "Hello, men! Caught anything much today?" The men each gave her a small bow. "Lady Savannah, lovely to see you as always. Plenty of fish today; much better than last week."

@Crisis

Evanna mumbled under her breath and strapped her axe back across her back, following Savannah to the docks. She looked slightly sick at the smell of fish.

Edwin, stilled perturbed, was slightly surprised she was a lady. But it all made sense, after Edwin connected the dots. He looked to Savannah friend, “You’re Lady Savannah’s guard, are you not?” Edwin made sure to call her lady. He did not want to insult her, especially if she had a guard. The prince relaxed a bit, his grip falling from his hidden knife.

@Crisis

Evanna nodded, and held her hand out. "The name's Evanna. If you lay a hand on my charges you will not live another day." She smiled. "Good to meet you Edwin."

@Fraust

Savannah seemed not to notice Edwin talking to Evanna, continuing her polite conversation with the fishermen. She didn't treat them like they were vermin, or in any way lower than her. She spoke to them as equals. "How is your family, Lyall?" "Our son was born last week, m'lady. He's doing quite well." "Oh, that's lovely! What is his name?" "Nathaniel, m'lady." "That's a wonderful name. Congratulations! Well, good day to you all!" Savannah gave the fishermen a little wave before walking away from the docks.

Edwin hesistantly took her hand and shook it awkwardly. He couldn’t remember if he’d ever shaken someone’s hand before. Edwin focused his attention on the fisherman, using the opportunity to learn about the country’s profits, “How much per pound of fish?”

@Fraust

(I'll have them answer anyways XD)
"Five silver per pound, sir." The fishermen dipped their heads politely. "And ten for three." (We're gonna pretend that silver isn't a whole lot lol)

“You should ask for more. There are many less fortunate countries to the south that would pay in gold, sir,” Edwin said before he left with a polite smile.

@Fraust

The fishermen seemed confused as Edwin left, but eventually just shrugged and cast out their lines again. Savannah slowed her pace to match Edwin's. "So, what do you think of the docks? The men are just lovely, aren't they?"
(She's not attracted to them or anything they're all old she's just saying they're nice XD)

@Crisis

(lol) Evanna trudged along behind the pair, observing Edwin. He acted strange, and had gotten oddly panicky about her weapons. Not that others didn't, but still.

“Yes, they are quite nice,” Edwin affirmed. His took in the salty breeze, but he heard familiar voices. He looked over the crowds to see his men pushing through them, eyes on Edwin. Edwin paled, before glancing over at Savannah and Evanna, “I must go, Lady Savannah and Evanna, but I do hope to see you later.”
Edwin disappeared into the crowd in a panic, going as far away from the two ladies as possible. When he was sure their eyes weren’t on him, he relaxed and waited for his men to catch him.
“My liege!”
“Where were you, my prince?”
“We’re you hurt?”
They bombarded him with endless questions, all of which the prince answered with as much grace as possible. He earned a scolding from the leader of the guard, but he brushed it off.
“You’re to meet with the princess, your betrothed, soon, Prince Edwin.”

(hii, I would like to jump in but I dunno what to do :T)

(Maybe have her see the prince and guards? Idk, I’m short on ideas tonight >=<)

@Fraust

Savannah sighed as he left. The sun was slowly sinking in the sky, adding golden and red hues to the few clouds that drifted by. "We must get back to the castle. I will be meeting the prince I'm to marry soon, and I need to be ready." They soon arrived at the castle, where Savannah began preparing herself to be in front of hundreds of people. After about an hour, she came out of her room in a gorgeous white gown that had pink fading up from the bottom. It was off the shoulder and had a white lace torso, embroidered with pink roses. She had her hair done up with a rose tucked beside her tiara.
