“I’ve already got blood on my hands from other deals I’ve made,” Rigel remarked from the side, “I wouldn’t mind a late night job…”

Belle sighed and shook her head.

"No murder, guys. Like I told August earlier, I don't want to get caught and have to spend time on the other side of the prison bars," she restated. "Especially since then there would be a chance of seeing my father, and you all know how well that would go…"

Riverpaw made a noise of discomfort, trying not to think of that scenario as she put the kit in her bag.

“I remember him,” Rigel gave small smile, imagining how it’d go down if he and Belle were in the same room, “It most certainly would not go well.”

"And so you see my point," Belle said, her eyes darkening as she glared at Rigel.

Rigel sketched a shallow bow, a smirk growing on his face. He exhaled a cloud of smoke at her before readjusting the cig in his mouth before muttering, “I wouldn’t get caught like what happened in Vegas.”

Belle waved the smoke away from her face as she rolled her eyes.

"Oh, really? Well, with your record I'm finding that hard to believe," she declared.

“It’s not like I’ve ever been caught for the bad stuff. Sure, drunk driving, being high,” A wave of his cigarette in the air before continuing, “Some small financial issues. But I’ve never been caught for the murder, the scandals, et cetera et cetera,” Rigel replied lazily.

"Hm. We'll see how long that lasts," Belle murmured under her breath. He couldn't continue to not get caught forever. There would come a time when he did, she was sure.

Belle smirked, holding back a snicker.

"Exactly… Hey, who's hungry? I know an amazing place to eat, and we can get free food because they love me there," she said, flipping her hair sarcastically. (If that makes any sense…)
