Jules patted her head absentmindedly. "I don't think we're gonna find…wait….what's this?"

"What's what?" Lilith looked at him.

"This." He pointed to an article. "Says here that there's a gang loose here. Both Demons and Angels…"

Lilith looked at it. "And? I actually know a few of them."

"Well…the reward is…" He squinted. "Very much."

"Maybe I could rake 'em in for you." Lilith shrugged. "It'd be pretty easy."

"Yeah but there's 6 and you can't take them all by yourself."

"Yeah? What's Cowboy Muscles going to do against two different breeds? I know these guys."

"Oh, I don't know. I just thought I'd use my angelic powers that I was born with you limp noodle."

"Limp noodle? What kind of insult is that? Anyway, they'd overpower you in about a second."

"Oh you're acting as if I've never dealt with demons before."

"You act like I haven't grown up with these men and women. You're not gonna win, Jules."

"Well if you're with me…"

"If I'm with you I'll be able to distract them for long enough so you can take them out one by one. You just have to be careful. I'm willing to attack them, but it'd better be for a good cause. I don't want the money to go down the drain."

"True. I also don't want your life going down the drain."

"My life will be doing nothing of the sort. It's probably yours I should be worried about."

Jules rolled his eyes, a smile creeping up okn him. "Puhlease. You're obviously gonna do something stupid halfway through."

"And risk our lives? I don't think so." Her voice wasn't teasing. It was dead serious. And not the bad dead, but the serious dead.

"Okay….okay settle down." He hugged her. "We'll take them together, and nobody will die."

"Damn right. No, we'll go with my plan. They're better in numbers. It's better to lure them off separately." She hugged him back while talking.

"Okay. Could we make it look like there are more of us?"

"Could you… rephrase that?"

"Y'know. Make it appear that there's not only two of us when we go to fight them."

"I… don't think that'll work. Sounds kinda tactless."
