Jules blinked his eyes open slowly. The sun shown through the window of the cockpit and right into his eyes. He grimaced and squeezed them shut. Ugh.

Lilith was still snoring gently in her chair. Clearly, she was used to the bright sunshine.

Jules smiled as he glanced over at her. So cute…

She tilted her head to the side and her hair fell in the way of her peaceful face. She snored gently again.

Jules chuckled, reaching over and brushing it away from her face.

Lilith grunted and looked over. "Wh…what are you doing?" Her voice was stifled and groggy sounding.

"Uh….nothing." He cleared his throat. "You..just had some hair in your face so…yeah."

"Mmmm…" She leaned back again, clearly tired enough not to care. Soon, she was back to snoring gently.

Jules sighed, smiling a little. You're cute…

Lilith threw her legs over the side of the chair in an attempt to get warmer; she was so cold she felt herself shivering.

Jules slid out of his chair and tapped her shoulder. "You look cold hun."

"Mm… do I?" Lilith looked at him sleepily.

"Yep." He nodded. "Scoot over."

"Mm? Alright, I guess…" She sat up with difficulty, her legs still over the edge of the chair.

Jules slid in next to her and put an arm around her, rubbing her shoulder a bit. "Better?" It better be I worked up all my courage to do this.

Lilith chuckled gently and leaned against him with a gentle sigh. "Yeah."

He kissed her forehead. "I think I love you."

Lilith smiled a little. "I think I love you too."
