(Lol
Okay)
Cameron sighed as he stood in the attic, arms crossed as he looked around the attic. Iris was standing beside him. "You sure you want to remodel the attic?" She asked.
"It'll be fun, and a good hangout space." Cameron replied.
(I'm gonna say it's Saturday, and maybe they had plans for lunch or something?)
Madeline sneezed and rubbed her eyes. Gosh, what was up with her today? Her throat hurt, she kept sneezing, and she was starting to get a headache. Maybe she should call Cameron and let him know that she wasn't feeling well, and so she wouldn't be able to meet him later…
(Sure!)
Cameron sighed as he rubbed his temples. "I…..I….." He clenched his jaw and sighed.
Iris out a hand in his shoulder. "It's okay Cam. Take your time. Take it in, remember it, then remodel it. We can still leave some of dad's stuff up here, just move it around?" She suggested.
Cameron nodded. "Yeah, yeah. Let's do that." After finally agreeing to remodel the attic, he was having doubts. The attic had been his father's 'place' for years, decades even. He didn't want to change it.
Madeline sighed, sneezed again, then dialed Cameron's number.
C'mon, Cam… I don't want to just ditch you without warning, so answer your phone…
Cameron's phone buzzed in his pocket. He quickly picked it up. "Hey Mads!"
"Hey, Cam," Madeline answered wearily, her voice raw from her sore throat. "I'm not feeling too well, so I'm going to have to ask for a rain check on lunch. I'm really sorry."
Cameron frowned. "Wait, do you need anything?" He asked immediately.
Madeline shrugged, then realized he couldn't see her over the phone.
"I mean, I don't want to get you sick, and I'll probably just sit around and binge-watch stuff on Netflix while eating chicken noodle soup or something," she answered, coughing a bit at the end of her sentence.
Cameron looked over at Iris, concerned expression on his face. "Hey, I'm immune, rememwber?" He joked. "I don't care if I get sick, say the word and I'll be at your place in ten."
"Well, if you're busy I don't want to interrupt what you're doing," Madeline said, making her way from her bedroom to the kitchen. She coughed another couple of times, which led to a coughing fit.
Cameron took a deep breath. "Alright that settles it Madeline. I'll be there in ten." He hung up before she could protest .
Madeline finished coughing and looked at her phone, seeing that Cameron had hung up. She frowned, knowing that he would already be on his way.
Darn it, Cam… I don't want to get you sick, too.
She shook her head with a weary sigh and started scrounging her cupboards for cans of chicken noodle soup.
(Lol
I have seen it, it's hilarious)

Ten minutes later, Cameron was at Madeline's door. He knocked quickly.
Madeline had finally found one last can of soup and put it on the stove to heat up. When she heard a knock at the door, she left the pot unattended for a moment to go open it for Cameron.
"Hey," she greeted him hoarsely, giving him a small smile. "I guess there's no convincing you not to hang around and get sick, is there?"
"…….NOPE." Cameron said innocently.
Madeline sighed through a smile.
"All right, then. I suppose you can come in," she said, stepping away from the door.
Cameron gave her an exaggerated smile. "Why thank you Princess Madeline." He said she he was in, giving her and exaggerated and flourished bow.
Madeline rolled her eyes and snorted. She was thrown into another coughing fit, and she leaned against the kitchen's island for support.
Cameron reached out and picked Madeline up without difficulty and carried her to her living room.
"I'm–cough–I'm fine," Madeline choked out, swatting at Cameron's shoulder as he carried her. "You can–cough–put me down–cough. I've got soup on the stove."
"I'll get it then." He said as he set her down on the couch. "Do. Not. Get. Up." He said as he walked back into the kitchen.
(Le hi)
(Hey, yeah, hi! I'm here!
I was working.
Crud, I was going to respond to this this morning…)
Madeline sighed and leaned back into the couch. There would be no changing Cameron's mind, now, she was sure, so there was no point in fighting it.
She sneezed, then groaned and rubbed her sore throat.
(Lol it's fine)
Cameron walked back into the living room and set some water and a bowl of soup in front of her. He looked at her worriedly.
"I'm fine," Madeline rasped, rolling her eyes at Cameron's expression. "Thanks for the soup, though."
Cameron rolled his eyes back. "No, you're not. And you're welcome. Is there anything else I can do for you?"
