"Yes, now stop hurting yourself" Alice commented before she waved her and and diagrams of holograms appeared before her eyes.

"what's life without a little pain?"

Alice turned and squinted at him. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

"heh, now when did i say that?" his eyes seemed to glow a deep orange "and that's funny coming from you, the person who asked what i would do if i was dying…"

Alice stayed calm and looked at him. "Dude, take a chill pill. I was just asking." Her hand moved to her wrist where her bracelet was. She could easily break through the rock if she needed to with the technology she had.

his eyes stopped glowing "heh, when you're one who is as disliked as me, you have to be on edge 24/7." he leaned back in his chair "we'll talk more later."

"Hmm and when will that be." Alice asked . "And no one dislikes you Alex, why would we do that?"

"you haven't seen it? the way people look at me, you can see the fear in their skull." he motioned to a girl in the front glancing back at him "we'll talk more at lunch."

"Well I don't, they're just cowards, thats all, seriously you should of seen the way they looked at me when I fell out of the ceiling with oil all over me." Alice tried to assure him.

"heh, nothin' shakes you does it?" he clenched his fist "i didn't even have powers until my parents did tests on me. they're gone now, they abandoned me because my power made me an abomination." spikes of obsidian poked through his jacket but he retracted them "enough remembering, lets try to learn shall we?"

"Seems like we have something in common. Beside's I already know everything." Alice commented.

Alice shrugged. "If you say so."

he looked at his watch "class is almost over…"
