Sia waited, letting him speak when he wanted.
Sia waited, letting him speak when he wanted.
"Terrifying… I…" He swallowed and shook his head. "It doesn't matter. I've always had nightmares about him." He stroked Sobex as he climbed into his lap, cooing and purring, his stripes still royal blue.
Sia nodded. "I can make some chamomile tea if you want. It helps relax one's self."
"Please. Thanks."
Sia got up. "Do you want to come to the kitchen, or are you alright staying in here?"
(I'm staying on until my mom comes home. So if i randomly pop offline you know whyy)
"I-I'll come with you…" He shuffled out of the bed, his legs still shaking.
(Ok)
Sia made her way to the kitchen and heated up a cup of water.
I need to stop shaking… stop…. But his legs didn't stop.
"Maybe I should call work and tell them I won't be able to come in. I'm not sure I want to leave you alone while you're like this." She grabbed tea bag and placed in the cup to steep.
He shook his head. "Don't… it's stupid, and maybe I need time alone. I forgot my meds… and…" He inhaled. "I'm just a mess."
"What kind of meds do you take?" she asked.
"A lot. I forgot them all." He sighed. "Sometimes I wish I'd die from taking them all… but here I am…" He stroked Sobex's head idly.
"Hm." Sia checked the tea and pulled out the tea bag. "Here." She said, handing him the cup.
He took it and sipped. "Thanks."
"No problem." She sat down at the table.
Gij sighed and relaxed into the chair. "God." He shook his head and Sobex yapped sadly.
"Does that happen every time you sleep?" Sia asked.
"Yeah. And I wake up feeling terrible; about myself… other things."
"I have herbs that could help with bad dreams if you're interested." Sia offered. "Is it always the same dream?"
"No, they're all different. I've tried different stuff and it never works. Thanks, though."
Sia nodded. "Do you want to do something to try and take your mind off it?"
"Not a lot takes my mind off of it. My girlfriend helped when she actually cared… then she started abusing me… and it got worse…"
"Oh dear." Sia sighed.
"Yeah…" He shrugged. "Anyway, there's not a lot you can do, thanks for trying, though."
"No problem." They sat there in silence for a few minutes.
He sipped his tea, still shaking.
Sia glanced at the clock. "What do you feel like for lunch?"
"I don't care." He shook his head.
"Okay." She lapsed back into silence, not sure what to say.
Gij finished his tea and set it down, still feeling shaky, but not as afraid.
