"You will never understand why I did the things I did, khari*" Jade said, looking away. She tried to not show any emotion, but hints of regret flashes across her face.

*Khari is a term that teachers call their less intelligent students. It roughly translates into "Dunce".

"I can't make you understand. Even if I…… but I wouldn't." Jade said.

“I’m not a little kid anymore you know. I grew up a while ago. I matured too quickly, and I became a parent at 10. I think I can handle it. So stop treating me like a child so can’t do anything” she snapped.

Jade sat down underneath a tree, waiting for Solace to come back.

Solace came back out with a few suit cases and sat them on the ground. She popped one open and pulled out a button, the presses it a set it on the ground. A large house popped out from the button and was instantaneously sitting on the ground before them, Fully furnished. She closed the suitcase and took them in the house.

"If you were trying to impress me, you failed." Jade said. She sat down in one of the chairs.

“Why would I impress you. I have no reason to. I’m just using the modern technology I was supplied with. Not everything is about you.” Solace replied, rolling her eyes. “Get over yourself. Your not all that sweetheart”

"I can tell you want something from me." Jade said.

Deleted user

"You tell me. You obviously want me to tell you more about my tragic past as means to manipulate me and regain a friendship. But it won't work." Jade scoffed.

Deleted user

"Yeah, you do." she gave a mirthless laugh. "I can see it in your eyes. Besides, you're so predictable."

Deleted user

"No. I wish you had changed. If you had, you would have made the smart choice and killed me." Jade argued.

“Not everyone’s volent and wants everyone else to die Jade. Not everyone’s cold and terrible like you” Solace retorted. “One day sweet heart. One day your realize this isn’t you. This is your defense mechanism.”

"I know who I am. This is me. And personally, the sooner you accept that fact the better."

“Jade. This isn’t you. This is who you’ve been forced to be. You don’t know who you are yet. But I do know this isn’t you. Your not this girl you’re trying so desperately to be.” Solace turned away and walked upstairs. She’d heard enough, she said enough. She knew she couldn’t convince Jade, and decided to stop trying.

(Gonna timeskip a bit if that's okay)

The next few weeks were very quiet. Jade didn't leave her room unless forced to, but one day, Jade had a sudden panic attack. It was random, with no specific provocation, but she found herself curling into a tiny ball in the corner, screaming for help. She was on a battlefield that didn't exist, she saw herself dying but in reality was perfectly safe. But Jade didn't know that.

Solace went running. She had spent most of her time behind a good book or over the stove. She found Jade screaming, shaking. She pulled her up to a sitting state and began talking to her in a soothing voice. Telling her everything was okay. Everything was okay, but not in Jades world.

"Make it stop! Make it stop!" she sobbed, burying her head into Solace's chest. Non-stop pain. Memories she had tried to forget blended into the perfect nightmare.

(Sorry had to eat dinner)
Solace wrapped her arms around Jade trying to protect her for whatever was harming her. It was no use but she tried anyway. She may hate Jade but she isn’t going to leave someone to suffer, leave them in pain when she can do something about it. “Focus on my voice Jade. Just breathe. Everything’s okay. You’re okay.”

Deleted user

"Stop, make it stop!" Jade screamed. She wrapped her arms around Solace, trying to ignore the pain.
