(If you look at Ace's motivations in his character page, it says cheeseburgers)
Honestly, though, Ace is me. He is literally dying and he dreams of Cheeseburgers. I probably would be, too.

Macha quietly resigned, looking regretfully at Ace with glazed eyes before going back to her bed.

I love this so much
Skylar smiled. "Number one." She said, Holding up one finger. "How old are you today?"
"Nine," he grinned nervously, excitedly. "Next year I turn ten," he added as if it was an unknown fun fact he felt he needed to share.

lol
Dani grabbed Macha gently by the arm. "Come on." She said soothingly. "There's a better way you can help Ace." The pain in her side skyrocketed, and she grimaced. She hoped no one had noticed.
"Wow… Next year you will be double digits! That is pretty big!" she said, smiling.
"And two." She said, putting up her second finger along with her first. "What do you want for your birthday?"
Blake sighed taking up his post as resident guard dog and patrolling the perimeter around Ace's bed in a repetitive pattern, eventually falling into the ones his was trained into. Left, right, left, right, halt! Look up, scan your surroundings, then repeat.
Macha took hold of Dani’s hand., nodding.
"I want to be just like Indiana Jones," he answered without hesitation. "But the most important first piece to a Indy Joe outfit is the hat." He squinted matter-of-factly.
"Of course." sky said, Smiling. "I am sure that I can make that happen." She said, standing up.
The nurse got a comm. "Today? But I told them tomorrow. Why? Oh, okay. Makes sense. Can anyone else stay in? Depends? Okay. Okay, great. Bye."
Dani led Macha away from Ace's room. She grimaced again.
The nurse stared at Blake, "The surgery is today. In 30 minutes."
"I-I also want aviator goggles," he added with the biggest buck-toothed grin.
Macha followed, taking notice of the pain Dani was in. “You okay?”
"I-In a half hour?!" Blake was on the verge of a panic attack, but kept himself calm, gripping tightly onto Ace's hand for comfort. I wish Frankie was here. Blake thought miserably, feeling useless.
The nurse nodded, "Yes. The doctor said you could stay, but they're going to cut him open, so…Are you squeamish?"
"Yeah." She gasped. "I really shouldn't have run." She said clutching her sides. "But I'll be fine."
Macha trailed after, brain split into at least five different levels of concern.

"Nope. I'm a-" Blake cut himself off. "I used to be a soldier. I'm not foreign to blood." He told the nurse, determined to stay by Ace.
"Okay." the nurse left, leaving Blake and Ace alone in the room.
"Sure. I will find a time to get those for you." she said, turning around. "I have to.. Where is everyone?" She asked, looking around.
"I dunno." Ellis chimed in.
Mackenzie walked up to Skylar and tugged on the edge of her shirt.
"You've gotta make it, okay man? You can't die on me and Macha. We need you around." Blake started babbling. Ace couldn't hear him anyways, right? A few tears trickled down his cheeks, landing on Ace's arm. "You've gotta survive this. You need to meet Ellis and get to know Frankie. Poor Frankie, god I'm the worst boyfriend, I don't remember if I even told her where I was going."
Ace's eyes fluttered, "I like cheeseburgers too. And ike cream. And rabbits who dance the hula. Coconuts grow on flower trees and Blake sits by lakes."
"You bet I do, man." Blake smiled sadly and rested his head near Ace's, watching over him protectively.
