Vien reached for the bottle of wine, pouring himself a glass since he had finished his coffee
Vin surveyed him over the rim of his glass, realizing how lucky he was to have him.
Vien focused a bit on his drink before glancing up. A small smile quirked at the edge of his lips when he saw Vin looking at him, though he didn't say anything
Vin noticed him looking and glanced away again, focusing on a sign in the front of the building.
Vien eventually finished his glass, now reaching to pour himself another
Vin looked over in hopes for another too, but hastily looked away when he noticed Vien wanted another.
Vien rolled his eyes. "Why do you keep looking at me and looking away?" he asked as he poured them both another glass
"Thanks. And I don't mean to."
"But you're being so obvious about it," Vien pointed out
"Once again, I don't mean to!"
"Okay, okay," Vien said before taking a sip of wine. The waiter came back, taking their empty plates before asking if they wanted desert. "You want any?" he asked, turning to Vin
"Yeah, I'll have the cheesecake that's being advertised over there." He pointed over to the sign.
Vien nodded, ordering a slice as well. "Cheesecake, huh? Good choice."
"I love myself some cheesecake."
"Same here," Vien chuckled. The waiter returned with their cheesecake, which Vien began to dig into happily
Vin dug in almost equally as happy. "Mhmmm… raspberry…"
"Yum," Vien said, smiling a bit as he took another bite
Vin nodded and took a sip of wine.
Vien finished his slice relatively quickly before finishing off the rest of his glass
Vin poured some more for him then filled the rest of his own.
Vien thanked him before taking a sip of his drink. "This was a good idea," he eventually said
"It was. You were the one who suggested it, anyway."
"Well, look at that. I did something right for once," Vien joked
"Yep, good job. Now… the check…"
"I've got enough to pay, unless you want to split," Vien offered
"We'll split." He nodded.
"Alright." As he speaks the waiter comes out with the check, which is surprisingly only about 60 dollars. "Looks like it'll be $30.15 for both of us."
"Cool. I like how cheap this place is."
"Yep. It's pretty small, so their food is cheap but good," Vien said as he pulled out his wallet
"Yeah." Vin fished his out of his pocket and pulled out some cash.
