"From the looks of things you can't leave… OOO that's good, maybe you should sit down, coming back is a little hard sometimes,"
"I'm fine…" Paige said, gritting her teeth. She was definitely not fine.

"About what?" Leo asked as he sat down next to the bed.

“Yeah you look fine. I can sense from here how weak you are.” Cooper picked at his fingers.
"About what?" Leo asked as he sat down next to the bed.
“Her mental psyche, did something happen?”
"Uh, I mean normally that would be hers to tell," Leo thought for a moment before sighing, "Except she was too young to remember. Great so now I have to tell you about my sister's big mental condition. Just great."
She high fived herself like the weirdo she was. "Well considering I'm marrying him I already feel impossibly lucky." You sound cheesy as hell. That's the point!

“I’ve had my own experience with mental illness I’m sure it’s nothing I can’t handle,”

Ryan opened his eyes and shot her a happy smile. “Oh god you guys are a cheese fest. It’s cute,”
"Says you!" She laughed. She relaxed a little, still kind of nervous but slowly getting used to it.
"Well it's not a normal condition. It's unique because when she was five, she uh," Leo cleared his throat, "She kind of died? And I may have resurrected her?"
"Says you!" She laughed. She relaxed a little, still kind of nervous but slowly getting used to it.
“Me?!” She giggled, cuddling into Ryan a little more, “What’s cheesy about me?”
"I meant this one." She prodded Ryan in the chest. "He is so cheesy."
"Well it's not a normal condition. It's unique because when she was five, she uh," Leo cleared his throat, "She kind of died? And I may have resurrected her?"
“How? Wait what does she have first…”
“Hey!” Ryan protested. “No it’s true Ry, you’re a cheese ball,”
"And I love him for it." She giggled, cuddling into his side. This is so weird. Both his fiancee and his sister curling into him like cats. It's so cute!!

Ryan smiled, he loved all the cuddles he could get. “I made food,” Elizabeth started with a slight frown, “It’s not much, not exactly eating like kings or anything but I thought maybe you guys were hungry. Ryan looked concerned, he thought they had moved past this.
(I have no idea if what I'm about to say is actually true but I don't care.)
As if on some cue, her stomach growled. "I think that answers your question." She chuckled, sitting up slowly. "You two stay here and talk, I'm going to go see what there is to eat. Thanks for making something Elizabeth, I appreciate it." She smiled sweetly, waltzing downstairs. There was a few pots and pans of food and she grabbed the closest one. Big mistake. There was a sizzling sound and she drew her hand back quickly with a yell of pain. "Ow! What the hell?" She looked at her hand. It was blistered and raw, an angry red color. "Oh god you're kidding me."
“Belle?” He half yelled through he house. Elizabeth hopped up and ran down the stairs, “Are you okay!?” Ryan followed with less urgency.
"Is that cast iron? Do ask why, just answer the question." She pointed to the pan that had just given her a third-degree burn. She hissed in pain, holding her burned hand to her chest.
Ryan walked over to her, standing close, “Yeah that one is,” Elizabeth looked guilty, she always felt like things were her fault.
"Cast iron burns angels. It's like poison to them." She winced as another wave of pain washed over her. Being the head of angels herself, cast iron was one of her biggest physical weaknesses.
Ryan held his hand out to grab hers but when he lift it, a blue light shot from his palm to Belles wound. He closed it quickly unsure of what had happened.
The pain stopped and she looked at her hand. The wound was gone, completely healed. She glanced up at him, a small grateful smile on her face.
Ryan didn’t return her smile… “What the hell was that?”
"What was what? A lot of things just happened, you'll have to be more specific than that." Her smile faded. You'd think after just tearing her heart to shreds he'd be more concerned about her mental state and physical wellbeing after literally having a mental breakdown and almost jumping off a cliff.
“You burned your hand then I healed your hand…” he was very confused. Elizabeth just cowered against the wall under the assumption she hurt her brothers fiancée.
"Welcome to the world of supernatural magic, spoiler alert, it makes zero damn sense." She shrugged, she barely understood what half of her powers even did. She just used, and kind of abused, the powers she did know how to work.
Ryan turned around, his face melted when he saw his sister, “It’s not your fault honey,” she nodded, “Sorry Belle,”
"It wasn't your fault, you didn't know. I really should have recognized it sooner, I know better." She felt a little guilty, okay more than a little. She'd just met this girl and now she thought that she hurt her.
“See… not your fault,” Ryan pointed out. “All of us should stop feeling bad, simple mistake,” he look between he two of them.
