Ruby finally realized that she indeed did NOT recognize the person and lept onto him with a loud thud.
"OW!! STUPID DOG!!"

@_sleeby_rat_

Okay, that was it. Vien flipped the covers back, scowling as the dragon trailed a few steps behind him. "What are y-you doing in here?" he asked

Deleted user

Vin was a flailing ashy-black thing and Ruby was attempting to rip his arm off.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vien's eyes widened, and the dragon behind him growled. The creature was about Ruby's size, and it flapped over to her and tore her away from Vin. A starry knife had appeared in Vien's hand, and he approached the Vin-shaped thing cautiously

Vin sat up on his knees and shot an unhuman glare at his dog. "Stupid animal!" His voice was deeper and hoarser. His skin (like mentioned) was an ashy-black and his eyes were a crimson red.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vien's eyes widened at the sound of Vin's voice, though he didn't get rid of the knife. "Vin?" he asked softly while his dragon kept Ruby off of him

Vin glanced over at him with his glare set, but it faded quickly with a 'nothing-to-see-here' look. "Hey Vien, didn't see ya there!"

Deleted user

"Well, no, I noticed you were tired, so I told you out of concern… and the fact that this time of day is bad for me."

@_sleeby_rat_

"Because of…that?" Vien asked, gesturing to Vin. He sat down on the tiles, legs folded beneath him as he dissolved the knife he had created

Vin rubbed his head and sighed. "My magic always acts up when the sun is setting."

Deleted user

"It's when the sun is setting. So it's around 5 to 8 that I'm like this. I can control it after the sun sets…"

@_sleeby_rat_

"Well, that makes sense," Vien said. "I've met creatures and such that have similar issues. One spirit friend of mine has two different forms and personalities depending on whether it's night or day."

Deleted user

Vin grunted. "Well, thanks for not judging me."

@_sleeby_rat_

"Why would I judge you?" Vien asked softly. He personally felt like he had no room to judge people considering his own issues

Deleted user

Vin sighed and leaned back. "Yeah, but thanks."

@_sleeby_rat_

Vien folded his legs as he got comfortable on the floor. His dragon was still chasing the dog around, but Vien seemed unphased

Deleted user

Ruby barked happily and pounced on the dragon.
"Ugh, I forgot to make something, sorry. I melted a pan and it escalated from there."

@_sleeby_rat_

Vien looked sheepishly down at the floor. "I…I'm sorry for making you angry earlier," he mumbled. Sensing that Vien was upset, the dragon clambered over to them and hopped into his lap

Deleted user

"That's okay." Vin scooted closer to him. "I'd hug you, but in risk of getting this black stuff on you, I can't."

@_sleeby_rat_

"It's fine," Vien mumbled, hugging the dragon as he stared down at the floor. He still felt bad for earlier. He had overreacted, and felt horrible about it

Deleted user

Vin sighed. "Look, don't feel bad. People have reacted to me much worse than you." He put a hand on his shoulder. It was a little warm and waning back to his skin color.

@_sleeby_rat_

"I know, which means I shouldn't have reacted like that. I just…" Vien trailed off, hugging the dragon closer. Said dragon gave a small coo before looking to Vin

Deleted user

Vin decided that stained clothes wasn't the issue and hugged Vien close. "It's alright, I don't mind. I get it a lot worse." He kissed Vien's forehead, which left a little smudge of black.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vien leaned into the hug, a small sniffle escaping him. "I…Things have happened before, and I was just scared," he tried to explain while the dragon in his lap wormed in an attempted to somehow hug them both

Deleted user

Vin squeezed him and kissed his cheek. "I know. I understand, but nothing would've happened. You didn't know, and I don't blame you."

@_sleeby_rat_

Vien nodded, reaching up to rub at his eyes in an attempt to keep from breaking down. "Thank y-you," he stammered, foot twitching as he stammered
