"Can I see?" Vien asked curiously as he turned around again. "I don't really mind if it's dark or not," he assured him. One of his friends was actually a tattoo artist, so he had become sort of fascinated with them without realizing it
"Can I see?" Vien asked curiously as he turned around again. "I don't really mind if it's dark or not," he assured him. One of his friends was actually a tattoo artist, so he had become sort of fascinated with them without realizing it
“Ah, yeah, sure.” He took his jacket off to reveal a rather muscular form than what was intended. It was really impressive how well he hid it. The tattoo was of a skull and had a snake running through its eyes and peeling from its teeth. Outlined in an eerie blue, a dagger was running through the nose hole of the skull. The initial color of the snake was a deep red, and the skull was a dim white.
Vien shuffled forward a bit, his curiosity getting the better of him. He had to resist the urge to touch it, knowing that was something most people didn't do. "It's nice," he said, trying to focus more on the tattoo and less on the fact that Vin was almost ridiculously muscular
(ok I’m sorry I am a teenage girl shut up I have to splurge somehow)
Vin grunted and picked his coat back up. “I suppose, but that’s not what others have said.”
(Lmao)
“Well they just don’t know how to appreciate good art,” Vien said as if it was obvious. He took another sip of his drink, his icy eyes flicking back to the TV
Vin rolled his shoulders back and leaned back into the couch with a faint sigh. He moved his eyes up to the TV and continued watching the documentary.
(Oof help, running out of ideas)
Eventually the documentary ended, and Vien sighed. “Well, I thought that would be longer. Apparently not,” he said, rolling up the sleeves of his button down as he did so
(uuuuummmmmm they make out i DONT KNOW IM SORRY cries in corner)
Vin shifted around in the comfortable backed couch and shrugged. “I suppose we could find something else to watch. Maybe we could grab a bite to eat somewhere.”
(Lmao no, they can’t make out when we’re only on page 2)
Vien shrugged. “I would be up for that. What kind of food do you like?” he asked, turning to look at Vin
(then don’t ask The Desperately Bored 15 year old xD)
“Eh, anything. As long as it’s not a vegan place or something.” Vin chortled and leaned back. “Whatever’s fine.”
Vien made a face at the mention of vegan food before standing. “Seafood?” he suggested with a shrug
“Hmm, yeah I could have seafood.” He slowly stood too, and looked at him.
“Do you want to order in or actually go to a seafood place?” Vien asked, a hand running through his messy dark hair
“I guess we could just place an order.” Vin didn’t want to be seen outside tonight. He hardly ever does.
“That works,” Vien said before walking over to the phone. He drummer his fingers against the counter absently before turning to Vin. “What do you want?”
“A pound of steamed shrimp. I’ll pay for it.”
“No, I’ve got it. You’ve payed me enough tonight,” Vien said, waving a hand dismissively before returning to the phone. He ordered the food quickly before hanging up. “Should be here in 15.”
“Okay, then. Thanks.” Vin felt somewhat relieved as he put his wallet back in his pocket.
“No problem. You spend enough at my bar,” Vien said with a small laugh. He set the phone back before going to sit on the couch again
Vin rolled his eyes and gave a short laugh too, and leaned back again.
Vien reached for the remote, beginning to flip through channels absently. He tapped his foot as he did so, not quite knowing what to do with himself
Vin crossed his legs and tucked them into himself, picking dirt out of his fingernails.
"So…What do you normally do besides spend the day at the bar?" Vien asked, trying his best to break the awkward silence. He wasn't the best at socialization, but he was trying
Vin shrugged and blew a faint raspberry. “Hang out with my dog. Watch TV. Otherwise, work.”
"What do you do for work?" Vien asked curiously, now resting his head in the palm of one hand. And Vin had a dog? He found himself suddenly wanting to see it
“I am a construction worker. I’m not working on anything at the moment, so that’s why I’ve had a lot of free time.”
"Construction?" Vien asked, now intrigued. "That's…oddly fitting for you. Explains your unreasonable amount of muscle," he said, grinning as he poked one of Vin's arms
Vin shrugged. “Yeah, I suppose, but there’s a lot of other men that I work with who are burlier than me.”
"Might have to show up to one of your jobs just to people watch," Vien joked, still grinning as he wiggled his eyebrows
Vin laughed and glanced at him. “I didn’t know you were into that type of stuff.” That didn’t really bother Vin much anyway.
