Marvel was based off the comics, and yet no one criticizes that they're not exact, you know.

I don't care that much about how exact it is, because some things you just can't do, but it's how it fits overall into the world and the story.

Like, did the director even READ the frickin books? The director's just like "Oh, Percy Jackson looks hot on the cover, let's make a movie about a book that I haven't even read! And I'm sure that Percy Jackson fans who have actually READ THE BOOKS won't notice that I left out most of the characters, most of the plot, AND I made Annabeth fight Luke! Yep, they won't notice!" Meanwhile, the director's sittin' in their leather chair, completely oblivious to the crowd of torch-weilding citizens ranting about the movie.

I don't know if somebody else said this, but is it just me who thinks it'd be good if Percy Jackson was on Netflix, and there was a separate series for each book?
