(Moxiey: Screw it. I made a new friend.
Also, are they, like, Neverland merpeople or out in the ocean like TLM?)

Matrix sighs to himself as he swivels onto his back on the sharp silt. He stares up at the waves

(I was thinking TLM)
Maddox wasn't sure what Moxiey was planning, so he followed behind the pair silently. He hid behind rocks and such as he went, maintaining a distance that he couldn't be seen at.

(Okay!)

Moxiey scanned the water and saw a ship nearby. "Ha! Good luck! Let's go," she whispered to Rhea.

Lucinda finally started to fall asleep, feeling like everybody was finally safe at home.

Matrix closes his eyes and starts to doze off. His tail flowing silently in the current.

"Rhea, come on!" Moxiey hissed.

“I’m coming I’m coming!” She whispered wiggling her tail

Moxiey reached the ship first and settled into a crevice to watch the men aboard.

Matrix opens his eyes as a ship passes above him. He doesnt react at all/

Moxiey sighed. Her eyes followed a man with smooth brown hair, green eyes, and a gentle laugh.

Rhea sighed “it’s beautiful!”

"He's beautiful," Moxiey replaced with a sigh.

Rhea looked at the man “meh, could be better.” She shrugged

Moxiey didn't seem to hear her. Suddenly, the man's eyes glided over to her and locked with hers. Moxiey froze.

Matrix sits up in the rough silt, watching the boat slowly drift over him.

Rhea also froze

Moxiey dove into the water with a splash, her heart pounding, and dragged Rhea along with her.

Matrix (Stands?) And swims a few feet off the ground toward the two but stops there

“That was awesome!” She grinned

Moxiey let the cool waters touch her face. She didn't realize that she was so red.

“You ok?” She asked

Hey! Are you two ok?!" Matrix called with his hands cupped around his mouth. He was still way far away from them

"Oh my gosh!" Moxiey buried her face in her arms.

Lucinda heard a bit of shouting, the water carrying the noise into her cave. She sat straight up, looking around and sighing with relief as she saw that Maddox was fast asleep. Then she froze. Where was Moxiey?
"Moxiey!" She called, looking around frantically.

(Oh I guess Maddox is asleep lol. Better change that)
Maddox stirred slowly, opening his eyes and glancing around. What is that noise…? Why's Luce yelling? After Lucinda had left the cave, Maddox got up and followed silently, maintaining a distance at which he couldn't be detected.

She finally spotted Moxiey near some rocks with a mermaid that Lucinda didn't know. Moxiey's face was buried in her arms, and nearby there was a large boat. "Moxiey!" She shouted, swimming toward her.

Maddox concealed himself behind a rock formation, peering through a large crack to watch the scene play out. His breathing was near silent, and he was completely still.
