Caire glanced over at Michelle for a moment. Ah, what the heck? Might as well play the part! She kissed Brendon, pulling away after a few seconds. "I must go now, my Romeo. We shall meet again soon." She ran off the stage as instructed in the script.

@ShadeStar

Michelle was crying while Michael scoffed. Each duet had played to a different directors heart. The question was, who would get the lead?

@Elder-God-Jacks347

….What just happened? Acting my friend. Acting just happened. Welcome to theater! "Juliet! Wait!" He reached for her but she was gone. He dropped his hand and sighed, his eye welling up with false tears. "My dear Juliet. I never got to tell you I love you."

(scuttles in like a giant terrifying crab)
Caire came back on the stage after the scene ended. "Well, Michelle? How was that?"

@ShadeStar

Michelle was still crying, "It was beautiful!"

Michael contrasted her, "Beautifully hideous."

"MICHAEL!"

"I DIDN'T LIKE IT!"

"FUCK YOU!"

"fUCK YOU!"

@Fraust

"Yeah, they do this a lot." Caire smirked. "But Michelle liked it, and, in the end, it all comes down to her opinion. She is the president after all; Michael's just the vice." She went to sit down.

@ShadeStar

Michelle and Michael were still shouting. Something about how the lead director has more power over the president? And the other one yelling back?

He paused, a light blush covering his cheeks. "Um, you did really well up there. Usually, I'm stuck with someone who doesn't know half the things a proper theater kid does so I was impressed."

@Fraust

"Thanks." Caire smiled softly. "You were wonderful as well. I can tell you've done theater for a long time."

@Fraust

"Well, it's always good to immerse yourself into the story. That's what makes a good actor. I must have read the original Romeo and Juliet over a dozen times. Quite an intriguing story."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

"It is, isn't it? A classic forbidden love story ending in a tragic twist. Oh my god I love it so much." He was like a kid on Christmas. Usually, people thought his Romeo and Juliet obsession was just weird.

@Fraust

Caire nodded. "Although, I think they could have handled the situation better. Like, do they honestly not know how to check someone's pulse to see whether they're alive?" She laughed.
