Faye landed all eight inches(sorry I forgot she's eight inches not fifteen) of her on Brianna's shoulder. "So, I assume you're here because of the crisis?"
"You mean because I couldn't find the Midnight Roses and freaked out because I knew that it had something to do with here and the fact that you'd need me? 'Cause if so, then yes."
Sandy started, staring at the girls as if they were six-headed monsters. "What…?" He asked weakly again, not expecting an answer.
Asher laughed. "The kid looks like he's seen a Redwolf. Wait–has he?" Asher asked.
"Almost." Brianna answered. "What's up with that? I thought they all disappeared when we destroyed Nathan's mom."
Nathan nodded. "Well, you see…….um…it's a complicated story. But apparently I have a brother who brought the Redwolves back and is trying to find the HeartStone." Brianna winced. "This is bad."
"You're telling us." Lillith interjected. "You haven't seen the full extent of the destruction they've caused yet."
Sandy didn't expect an answer. Instead, he contented himself by staring at a woman who walked in with a few books in her arms. Her ears were pointy and her skin was tan.
Alistair looked over at the woman who had walked in "(insert whatever name you have for her)! Hello dear, how are you today?" He asked warmly, making Brianna remember why they had nicknamed Alistair the 'Alcove Grandpa'.
The elf girl smiled at him. "Hello, Alistair. I'm returning these. Daddy doesn't like these types of books." She gave an annoyed sort of sigh and put them down on the desk.
Lillith flied over to the girl and quickly flipped through the books. "You must be new to Lotus Alcove then." She said as she continued looking through the books.
She sighed. "Yes, I am. If you haven't met me, my name's Aerin. Where's your gardening section?"
Lillith pointed towards the section. "Over there."
"Thank you." She started to walk over, but gave the pair of humans a second glance. "Hey," She started pointing at Brianna. "Are you a human?" She sounded breathless and amazed. Sandy looked quietly surly and annoyed. I'm a human, too.
Brianna nodded. "Brianna. And my friend is Sandy." She turned to Alistair. "So, what am I supposed to do?"
(Hey, sorry i didn't respond lol)
Aerin blinked and looked polietly curious while Sandy glanced wide-eyed at Alistar.
(It's fine)
Alistair thought for a few moments. "I'm not sure. We need to make a plan."
(I might not respond as fast bc there is a lot of thinking involved in how to move this forward correctly.)
(Okay)
Aerin decided that perhaps she shouldn't get too involved and wandered off back towards the gardening section. Sandy's shock steadily wore off, and he started thinking carefully of what they said earlier.
Brianna followed the others to the table that they had stacked all the books on and looked at the map that Asher spread out on it.
Sandy followed behind the group feeling out of place.
(I'll be offline for the weekend, but I'll be back on as soon as I can on the weekday.)
(I'll be able to access the internet from where I am so I'll be able to RP)
(Oh, cool!)
(Tbh, I'm still working out my answer.)
(Ok take your time, I'll have to go soon)
(Whoah hey there! It’s been a while.)
(I know. I'm still struggling with what to write next.)
(Honestly I has to go back and read up on my character. I kinda got you stuck, didn’t I? Sorry about the one-liners…)
(Let me rewrite it, see if that helps…)
Brianna looked over at Aerin. She shrugged and looked over at Alistair. He nodded his head. "She's a trustworthy girl, my dear."
Brianna nodded. "Aerin, you can join us if you want."
