Darren laughed, "I-I mean I guess," He pulled his hat down further on his head and readjusted his jacket causing leaves to crackle underneath him.
Darren laughed, "I-I mean I guess," He pulled his hat down further on his head and readjusted his jacket causing leaves to crackle underneath him.
"Okay thanks." Rory closed his eyes and concentrated. I want only Darren to levitate.
And he did, Darren did float off the ground, but the pile of leaves followed in a volcanic-like spray. "Argh sorry!" Rory grimaced.
"Okay, okay," Darren smiled and he came back to the ground on his own, it was nice to have the power of immunity, "You broke my leaves,"
"Yeah I didn't mean to do the leaves. I just wanted you to lift but the leaves insisted I guess." Rory flinched as the leaves drifted back to the ground, scattering over the yard. "So I did a little test inside and it turns out I was right. It does have to do with people! Everything went fine inside alone but as soon as other people were present it went wrong!"
"That's interesting," Darren thought for a moment but his mind was blank. "Can you fix my leaves?" He much enjoyed his pile.
"Sure. Sorry about that." Rory smiled sheepishly, then closed his eyes. Alright back into a pile you lazy bums. The leaves started piling up around Darren's feet. Along with the rake.
"Thanks!" Darren smiled and fell back into the leaves childishly.
Rory plopped down next to him, careful to avoid the rake.

Ginger's eyes followed the corgi's path. She opened her mouth to set something, but saw Leo. Her mouth hung open, slightly agape.
Leo looked up and nervously waved at Ginger. He tried to shoo the corgi back to her.
She took the headphones off her ears and let them hang around her neck. "Were you following me?"
The corgi tipped happily, pawing at Leo's sleeve.
"Livvy!" Ginger said softly, but not without being firm. Liv stopped and quickly headed back to Ginger. "Were you following me?" she asked again.
Leo laughed nervously, “Ummm yeah. Sorry I just wanted to make usre nothing happened the rest of the way. I’ll go now.”
"No!" Ginger exclaimed. Liv yipped loudly, following Ginger's lead. "Liv…" Ginger tried to shush the anxious puppy.
Leo was about to walk away but instead looked to her, “No?”
"Uh… If you wanted to stay for… Uh… I mean… Dinner?" Ginger asked awkwardly. She broke the eye contact and knelt down to stroke Liv's back. Liv calmed down.
Leo was a but shocked at the question. He responded nervously, “I mean um sure I guess.”

"Ginger?" Ginger looked up quickly as her mother came running out the front door. "Ginger oh my gosh, you're okay!!!!" The two collided in a hug, Liv squirming around their legs and barking madly. Ginger was smiling brightly.
"Mom!"
(Hey Dare should we continue with Rory?)
Leo watched and smiled at the two. Maybe he should just leave.

Rory plopped down next to him, careful to avoid the rake.
