"Surprising, isn't it? I used to know all the lyrics by heart but god I haven't heard that song in ages. I've forgotten since then."
"Surprising, isn't it? I used to know all the lyrics by heart but god I haven't heard that song in ages. I've forgotten since then."
Lillian nodded and her eyes quietly shut. Warm and safe, that meant sleep right? But she wasn't tired. And last time there was blood. So maybe no sleep.
"Surprising, isn't it? I used to know all the lyrics by heart but god I haven't heard that song in ages. I've forgotten since then."
"I actually love Randy Travis I won't lie, it's my childhood," Suddenly an elegant voice came from the stairs, "You may think that I'm talking foolish. You've heard that I'm wild and I'm free. You may wonder how I can promise you now, this love that I feel for you always will be." Elizabeth peeked in with a smile as Ryan continued her song, "But you're not just time that I'm killing, I'm no longer one of those guys. As sure as I live, this love that I give is gonna be yours until the day that I die." The both stopped, "Eww country music,"
Lillian nodded and her eyes quietly shut. Warm and safe, that meant sleep right? But she wasn't tired. And last time there was blood. So maybe no sleep.
"You can sleep if you need to… I'll be right here,"
"Noooo! I was enjoying that, please continue." She laughed.
"But the blood?" Lillian yawned slightly as her head rested on his chest.

"You can sleep if you need to… I'll be right here,"
Ryan laughed… "Well…" The both sang together, their voices fit together like puzzle pieces that had been apart for too long and only wanted to be one again. "Oh, baby, I'm gonna love you forever, forever and ever, amen. As long as old men sit and talk about the weather, as long as old women sit and talk about old men. If you wonder how long I'll be faithful, I'll be happy to tell you again. I'm gonna love you forever and ever, forever and ever, amen." Ryan wasn't really all for country music but he liked Randy Travis and he loved his sister so he continued, "They say time take its toll on a body, makes a young girl's brown hair turn gray. Well, honey, I don't care, I ain't in love with your hair, and if it all fell out, well, I'd love you anyway. They say time can play tricks on a memory. Make people forget things they knew. Well, it's easy to see it's happening to me, 'cause I've already forgotten every woman but you. Oh, darling, I'm gonna love you forever…" They finished the song and just stared at eachother for a moment.
"But the blood?" Lillian yawned slightly as her head rested on his chest.
"I'll take care of you… I promise,"
She clapped, fairly impressed. "That was beautiful!"
"It was weird," Ryan pointed out, "Country music," they both shivered. It was a big part of their childhood… They as teens had rebelled with Rock of any kind… Ryan was a punk rock kid, Elizabeth followed him.
(AHHH MR. SECRETARY)
"Okay," Lillian murmured. A shake racked her body as she muttered before she fell asleep, "December."
"I know but no one can hurt you," he reassured her sleeping mind.
"Well you two seemed to enjoy it." She shrugged.
Lillian relaxed against him and her body fell limp with sleep.
"We like singing," Ryan pointed out, "Together," Elizabeth added, "It doesn't matter what it is,"
This is the weirdest conversation I've had all day. It's not that weird. I mean like the finishing each other's sentences thing. It's like something out of The Shining. Yeah that is a bit creepy.
Lillian relaxed against him and her body fell limp with sleep.
Darren sighed and hummed quietly until it turned to soft singing, "You said if you don't let it out, you're gonna let it eat you away. I'd rather be a cannibal, baby, animals like me don't talk anyway. Feel like an ambulance, chase her away, pray I could replace her. Forget the way her tears taste, Oh, the way her tears taste…"
(Because Darren gets to sing too)
(Lol of course.)

They were creepy, they always knew what the other was thinking, it was like twin-tuition but they weren't twins. They were basically the same person.
She silence was beginning to become uncomfortable but she wasn't sure what to say to break it. Oh god the silence is awful. It's not helping the creepy vibe.
Ryan strummed his guitar, "It's so quiet," he whispered… "Yeah I know," she responded, "Do you think she died?"
"You know most people consider it rude to talk about someone like they're not in the room." It was a bit harsher than she meant for it to be but she despised it when people talked about her like she wasn't there.
"You know we're joking around right," Ryan looked up at her.
"Yeah I know. I just hate it when people talk about me like I'm not even there. It's one of my bigger pet peeves."
Ryan shook his head, "Sorry," he said under his breath.
"It's no big deal, really." She shrugged it off.
Lillian relaxed against him and her body fell limp with sleep.

Lillian liked his humming. She liked his voice. In her sleep she found herself wanting more.
Ryan was sitting with his guitar and suddenly it was just his guitar, still looking like someone was holding it but no one was there. Invisibility and didn’t even notice it.
"What the-?! Oh! Oh I get it. Invisibility. Cool!" Add that one to the list.
