"People are idiots" he said rolling his eyes at the tv.
"People are idiots" he said rolling his eyes at the tv.
Vixie nodded, agreeing. "How have they not answered loose change yet? With 'Things in your pocket' you would think it'd be obvious, but no. They're going and answering 'hands'."
"RIGHT! i mean i guess hands makes sense sorta, but that would be a last resort" he said, as the family got a second answer wrong.
"I know! Your hands aren't always in your pockets. Most people have loose change. Or what about twine? Dust? Holes? I dunno."
"exactly the freaking idiots" he smiled as Vixie and himself got along well.
The family who had guessed 'hands' ended up losing the game. "Well, that was fun." Vixie smiled softly. "Should we watch another so we can yell at people who can't hear us again?" She laughed.
"Im a little bored or the tv already honestly. i have a short attention span when it comes to tv. its one movie or one show and thats about all i can take." he said.
"True. What do you want to do now?" Vixie turned towards Jaxon, making eye contact for a few seconds while she awaited his answer.
"umm i dont know. Any ideaa?" he said, turning to look at her.
"Well, I picked the first time, it's your turn!"
"fair enough. umm well how about… no cant do that. ooorrr… nope cant do that either. ummm… yea ive got nothing." he said, shrugging.
Vixie sighed. "We could read? That is if your attention span can handle books."
"Oh i love reading. i have some in my office" he said, walking into the seemingly boring office… which has no book shelves.
"Er… where?" Vixie rotated on the spot, looking around the office.
"right here" he said, walking over to a fake potted plant, picking it up, touching the bottom. a secret door openned into the wall and he walked into a large room, bookshelves from ceiling to floor. "Welcome to my happy place" he said guesturing out.
"Woah…" Vixie entered the room and sat down in a squashy armchair to take it all in. "This place is amazing… how many books do you have in here?"
"not sure. stopped counting at 500" he said sitting on a bean bag chair opposite her.
Vixie smiled and picked a book at random, flipping it open and surveying the pages.
Jaxon put his hands behind his head nad leaned back in the bean bag chair, getting comfortable.
"Aren't you going to read?" Vixie raised an eyebrow and lifted her eyes from her book for a moment. "You've got perhaps a thousand books in here; surely there's something you haven't read?" She laughed quietly.
"i read them all as soon as i get them. i read rather quickly. just taking it all in. its nice to just sit in here sometimes" he said sitting up a little.
"Well, yes, but rereading books is always fun. Particularly if it's a series." Vixie turned back to the book, calmly flipping the page.
(Are you interested in joining a roleplay? It's the Hobbit one in the fandom rp section, and we need a couple more people. Dwarves and humans I think?)
"very true. i dont want to pick a book though. many choices, not sure what i feel like reading today." he responded.
sure ill look for it.
"Fair enough." Vixie read for about an hour before looking up at Jaxon again. "Are you sure you don't want to read? You look bored."
"not really, just thinking." he said, sitting all the way up. "Tell me about yourself."
"Well, I'm 21, my name's Vixie Mulbright, I've been a fox for three years because I was cursed… what else?" She looked away, deep in thought.
(casually tells a guy she's been a fox for three years)
"Wait what? a fox? 3 years? why… how… umm what?" he said flustered.
"Oh! Yeah, that. I was cursed three years to turn into a fox until I found true love, at which point I would change back for 24 hours. During that time, I would have to convince that person that they were my true love. If I succeeded, then I would remain a human. If I fail, I'll change back into a fox until I die."
