Rory sighed. "I'll be right here with you Darren. I won't let anything happen."
(Lol)
(Lol)
'You can stop a coma?' He chuckled a little as he wrote.
"No….But I can wake you up. And I can call the doctors. Besides, you won't go into a coma. You're the great Darren!"
Darren smiled, The 'Great Balthazar didn't get cancer and didn't need surgery but I decided being a good person was better than health. He sighed. He couldn't talk and was too tired to fight. He pointed to his heart monitor machine, "This changes, get doctor!" He wheezed. The most words he had said since we woke up.
"I will, don't worry." Rory nodded. "Now you rest up."
(Wait, what's going on?!)
Darren sighed and put his head close to Lillian's to avoid having to smell the hospital. He closed his eyes and fell asleep quickly, he was wiped. His heart rate dropped a little after a few minutes. Normal REM sleep stuff.
(Wait, what's going on?!)
(We went back to the other scene. Waiting got boring again)
(We have two scenes at the moment. One with you, and one with Sly. One has Lillian death the other has Darren death. BACK TO RACHEL'S TORTURE CHAMBER!)
(I'm sorry! What is happening in our thing?)
(LILLIAN DIED?!??!!?)
(Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yes? But she's fine.)
(HOW CAN SHE BE FINE IF SHE'S DEAD????)
(Calm down. Leo got a gift that let's him heal people that have literally just died or are about to die. Guess who fell into the latter.)
(So, are they all in Rachel's basement?)
(Give me a minute.)
(Okay.)
Leo gave her a soft hug, “Hey it’ll be okay. Are you staying and helping or going home?”
He looked to Darren, “Get in there and find her now. Who knows what state she’s in.”
Darren was already going pushing his way through the doors, "LILLIAN?" He yelled foolishly. He saw her and ran, pushing Rachel away.
Rachel stumbled back and growled. She pushed Darren away from Lillian, “YOU ARE NOT RUINING THIS FOR ME!”
Darren held her up by her throat with Balthazar's strength, "You are not taking her from me," A fireball formed in Darren's hand threateningly.
Rachel was scared, but a glance at Lillian changed all of that. She let out a low maniacal laugh, “Oh Darren. She’s already dead.”
Darren turned around quickly, he threw Rachel the ground with force as he untied Lillian and brought her into his arms, "No, nono I can fix this," He cried frantically. "LEO! HELP!" He yelled, his hands tried to heal her, the energy trying to force it's way into her. Darren can't heal something that doesn't have a heartbeat.
Leo heard Darren’s cry for help. He grabbed Ginger’s uninjured wrist and pulled her down with him. He saw Rachel on the ground still laughing, and Darren holding Lillian. He ran over and felt for a pulse on tthe bloody wrist, nothing. He tried her neck, nothing. She she was dead. His little Lil was dead…
"You need to do something!" Darren was crying and shaking as he yelled, "You're a-a doctor. H-Help her!"
Leo’s hands formed fists. He would help her because modern medicine couldn’t. She was too far gone for there works, “I will.”
He gently placed one hand on her heart and the other on her forehead. They started to glow as Lillian gained a slow pulse. Shallow, but there. Enough to give hope.
Darren looked at him with slight confusion, he ignored it. Lillian had a heartbeat which meant he could help her now. Darren placed his hand over her chest and a blue energy flowed into her. Lillian's wounds closed up, he wouldn't stop until he saw the green in her eyes looking back at him,
Leo removed his hands. His healing only could help those near death or dead. Normally useless, but now quite useful. He sat back as Lillian slowly opened her eyes.
Darren let out a long sigh. Leo had powers… Did Leo already know about Darren's? "Lillian?"
Leo had a suspicion. Lillian looked up to the boys, “Darren? Leo?”
"Hey," Darren smiled with a tear-stained face. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her. He hugged Lillian close, "You're okay,"
Lillian hugged him limply back, “Yeah. I am. Thank you.”
"I love you," Darren had his face buried in her neck.
Lillian murmured back, “I love you too.”
Leo had taken a moment to tie Rachel up. She wasn’t walking out of this unscathed.
Darren pulled away from Lillian slowly, he stood up and turned to glare at Rachen, he had ideas of pure torture running through his mind.
Rachel started shaking. Leo had gagged her already. Lillian sat there glaring at Rachel. Oh she was so fucking dead.
Darren formed an energy ball and played with it in his hand, low voltage wouldn't kill her but it would hurt like hell. He hurdled at her and the electricity stung her torso.
Rachel screamed as it hit her. Her body jolted. Leo kicked her stomach. Rachel whimpered in pain.
Darren hated hurting people but she deserved this, he upped the voltage and shot it at her. The next thing in his hand was a fireball, he was angry with no control.
Rachel screamed and again. Tears fell down her cheeks as her body jolted around on the floor. Lillian reached up to Darren, "I think she's learned her lesson. Besides Leo is kicking the hell out of her right now."
Yeah, Leo was just kicking her in the stomach.
The ball of fire withered out as his looked at her and dropped his hands, "She deserves what she did to us,"
Lillian nodded, "I know, but I don't want you to go to prison for murder."
Darren nodded and let his hand stay limp at his side, "Okay," He said quietly.
Lillian gave him a side hug, "Thank you."
Leo stopped kicking Rachel. He stepped back.
Darren wrapped an around her and looked between Rachel and Leo, "What do we do with her?"
Leo looked to Darren, "We could call the police. Turn her in for kidnapping and torture?"
"I agree," Darren pulled his phone out.
Leo nodded and looked to Rachel crying on the ground. He walked over to them, "Anything that happened to her was in self defense got it?"
"I could compel her to think that," Darren suggested.
Leo looked to him, "Do it."
Darren nodded and walked over to Rachel, looking her dead in the eyes his pupil dilated and returned back to normal, her's did the same. "We had to protect ourselves, you were going to kill us too, we had no choice," He commanded blankly.
Rachel smiled at him before frowning, "And I fucking failed. Grand. I'll get you one day bitch!"
"No, you're a monster," His compulsion was still latched onto her, he didn't mean to convince her that she was a monster but maybe this was best.
Rachel didn't need to be told that, "Oh I already know that."
Darren blinked out of the stare and ended the compulsion as he dialed 9-1-1.
Leo was holding Lillian. She whispered, "Did I?"
"Die yeah," Leo responded mellowly.
She leaned into him, "What's going to happen to me?"
"I don't know."
Darren got a response that the police would be there soon and they weren't allowed to leave, they were also sending paramedics.
Leo looked to Ginger. Then back to Lillian, "It's going to be okay."
Darren looked at all of them, he took Lillian's hand.
Lillian squeezed Darren's hand and whispered, "I'm scared."
Darren nodded, "I know, but there's nothing to be afraid of right?"
Lillian looked at him with wide eyes, "Um right."
Lillian laughed a bit, "Everything, I just don't know."
(This is for you camie.)
(Thank you, this helps so much!)
Ginger crawled over to Rachel, her wrist screaming with every movement.
(It took me so long………………………)
Rachel looked at Ginger. She grinned despite being in pain, "Hey bitch."
(Geez shade! Good work)
Ginger still flinched slightly. She closed her eyes and let her lips move without sound for a moment. She looked up and opened her eyes.
Rachel scoffed, "Coward."
(G'night guys!)
(Night!)
(Night Sly!)
(Nighty night Sly!)
Ginger stood up, wincing when she put pressure on her wrist. She looked Rachel right in her eyes. "The first to apologize is the bravest. The first to forgive is the strongest. The first to forget is the happiest." She turned and walked away, quickly running towards Lillian.
