"I don't know if I can." She whispered. She still didn't trust herself to try to walk away without her depression trying to throw her off the ledge.
"For me? I'll be there, alive just trust me."

She didn't want to tell him that she couldn't if she wanted to. He was still a demon, no matter who his older brother was. "O-Okay…"
"From the looks of things you can't leave… OOO that's good, maybe you should sit down, coming back is a little hard sometimes,"
She thought for a moment, scrambling to pick up what few pieces of her heart she could find to make a somewhat flimsy barrier to lock her depression away. "Okay." She stood slowly, walking away from the ledge and back to the house. She arrived a few minutes later, hesitating before opening the front door. She didn't know if she had a barrier strong enough to walk upstairs so she didn't.

Ryan gasped, it wasn't just a gasp for air but his first audible word, "Belle!" his strained word echoed through the house.
Leo was waiting for Belle to return so he could go. He didn’t want to leave Ryan here on his own.
She sighed a little in relief as she ran up the stairs into the room. She didn't say anything, she didn't know if she could, so she just stood there silently.
Ryan's eyes were squinted open, the edge of blue was slightly visible. "Belle," he whispered, Leo was there but a young girl sat next to him, confused but she still seemed to want to ensure he was okay.
She sank to her knees next to him. "It's alright honey, I'm here." She couldn't keep the tears out of her voice, but she did try.
Leo scooted back as he smiled tiredly. Looks like everything was going to be fine.
He was barely holding on to the little life Leo had supplied him but it would be enough, his limp arms tried their hardest to reach for her.
(Well Leo can’t give him anything else.)
She slowly moved forward into his reach. "Will he be okay? Just with this tiny bit of life?" She asked no one in particular.
(I KNOW IM BEING DRAMATIC UGH! I JUST WANTED TO KILL HIM AND IT WAS FUN!)
She slowly moved forward into his reach. "Will he be okay? Just with this tiny bit of life?" She asked no one in particular.
The girl spoke up, "He will be more than okay," she smiled, her blue eyes stared back at Ryan. Ryan's breathing was shallow but quick as he tried to pull Belle closer.
She sighed in relief, a smile attempting to find its way onto her lips. "Thank you. So much." She laid next to him, laying her head on his chest. She was just so happy he was back.
(I KNOW RIGHT!)
Leo looked to her as he slowly stood up, “He’ll be fine. But I should warn you there will be side effects. It’s different everytime, so I don’t know what it’ll be. Anyway heal him up, feed him, get some rest and Ryan will be good as new.”
"Well, maybe not new, but close enough." She didn't know if the advice was for her to give to him or for herself but she felt like she needed a nap anyway.
Ryan looked over to Leo, catching the girl in the corner of his vision, "Hey," he smiled, one hand left Belle to lace their fingers together, "Hey," she smiled and gave his hand a squeeze.
She could feel sleep starting to settle in and she yawned. "Right, you guys talk, I need a nap. All this stress and drama and crying have left me worn out." Her eyes fluttered shut and within minutes, she was asleep.
(Imma sleep too. Night!)
Ryan smiled, "Can you help me out here?" his body was weak but Elizabeth helped him put her on the bed, he crashed down beside her, asleep almost instantly. He hadn't gotten much sleep recently.
(I'm not but night!)
(Imma sleep too. Night!)
(Night!)
She was a bit surprised that the nightmares didn't instantly jump at her when they had the chance. Instead, she just had a rare deep dreamless sleep. Just a comfortable blackness.
Darkness fell over the sky, marking night time. Elizabeth had made herself at home downstairs, the house was filled with the smell of food.
The smell didn't wake her, but it did make her smile. She cuddled into him further, absorbing his warmth like a sponge.
Food, as always, woke Ryan up. He was feeling better. It had been hours, enough for a full nights rest but he just wanted to hold Belle, was it worth getting up?
The sound of his movement woke her. "Mmm? What? What happened?" Her voice was quiet and coated in sleep. She looked around before looking up at him.
Ryan smiled, he wasn't even dead for that long but he had missed her. "I think my sister's making food,"
