"First off." Harry said, stepping in front of her. "Stop acting like we're lower then you. It makes you seem stuck up, and we know you aren't. You don't know everything about us. We might surprise you. And second, we don't DIE so easy."
She grabbed Harry by the shoulders.
"That's not what I mean. I know you are skilled, but this is a new opponent for all of you, except Kai," she said, looking him in the eye, "I just… I don't want you to suffer the same fate as my people." Her eyes darkened, "Were it not for the Shifters, I would not be the last of my kind."
Harry looked her dead in the eye. "I. Am. Not. Leaving. You are the one who told me to stay in the first place."
"I know, I'm sorry," she shook her head and looked at those gathered around her, "Well, if you're not leaving, we had better make a plan."
"Good idea. First, I propose we use your pool to figure out EXACTLY who that old woman is."
"If I have encountered her in any of her forms, assuming she's a shifter, I can see her in the pool," Krystal said, kneeling down by the pool for the fourth time that day.
"Are you sure you can do that right now ?" Mozos asked concerned.

She looked up at Scarlet, then down at her dagger. "Yeah, that would be great, I'm tired of cutting myself."
"Be careful," Said Harry, half to himself.
Scarlet looked thoughtful for a moment, then spoke in a low, hushed voice, "Quid oblita cogita aquis."
